Great ideas! I'm making my dad a wooden wind chimes using dark stained spindles and two 7" wood slices with the bark around the edges. One with hang horizontally to hang the spindles from with eye hooks around the underneath and the other will hang vertically. I'm going to put a picture of him and his sister that just passed away on it and put " in loving memory" or something like that on it. I hope he loves it and it doesn't upset him too much ❤❤❤

WOW! I don’t know why you didn’t make these with your kids when they were younger. I mean you must have had so much free time and energy from all the sleep you were getting. Said no mom ever! I really gonna go out on a limb here and guess it’s because… 1. Those adults were 7, 5, 1, 1, and an infant 😳 I could barely get a shower in when my kids were little and when I did I was so sleep deprived I would literally doze off during it. 2. Added another baby just as you were able to shower without napping at the same time. 3. Busy busy busy with meals, school and homework not to mention all the extracurricular activities, driving the mom taxi, and oh yeah you had an additional baby in tow for all of it. 👍🏻you did good momma😁 If or when you have grandkids you can help them make stuff. It is soooo much fun and when I get tired they go home with mom and dad and I take a nap, and not in the shower😂🤣
