I've been trying to find "home base" (*not* horde base) build vids, as I'm completely bew to this style of gaming and most are all about the hordes. Thank you so much for showing a "home" base.... which found while looking up how to make a basement! 😂 This video didn't come up when I searched for "home base." Glad I found it. Thanks for the inspiration (and showing a great way for making the alcoves for forges & work benches). 🎉🎉

If you don't mind a suggestion for future videos like this, I highly recommend putting dimensions in at the start, particularly for the initial pillars

I love how modular these are. Currently playing War of the Walkers and have way more tables than vanilla, so im building multiple of these in a row. works nicely! Great job Reach!

This is a nice take on the base build. Don't get me wrong, seeing the huge castles people build is awesome, but seeing someone put something together that is functional and nice is also very good. Wouldn't mind seeing more videos like this.

A small suggestion. Add one more block on each side or your balconies so you can look down and out along the long sides of the base.

I made a similar design to yours last night, although mine looked crap, but it was had support pillars every 3x3 spaces but when I placed the last iron bar floor piece, the sodding thing collapsed. I think it's because I had a dew collector on a 3rd platform maybe overloading the weight but yeah. I had more pillars then you but mine still fell to bits. I hadn't upgrade the floor from wood which probably was the culprit. Just the legs/pillars. First base collapse in 300 hours n all :/

Zombies do not like to go Up then Down to get you, so if you have say a 3 story building, 2nd FLoor Crafting a small Horde base for weekly roamers on 3rd floor, Zombies will nto go up to horde base unless your on the 3rd floor. So you hear them, you just go up then they will path to you so you can kill them I normally just have hatch off side with Horizanal pole to Stairs like my Horde base, just dont need it as strong for weekly mobs. ... and those triangle Blocks you have on the bottom pillars well they can jam Zombies cause them to crouch and hit your columns as well just walking buy. Interiour is set up well... Ill have to look and see if you have made a crawl base or a Water base design, I run those as well , great for snipe builds, both make it easy to hit heads.

great build but without the ability to know your spacing it just isnt worth building sadly

@@ReachGaming was gonna try to make it but you dont say the spacing # of blocks between the struts and even at 25% speed i cant quite figure it out. my eyes aint t he best most build vids i watch with either say or onscreen comment spacing numbers between blocks
