Easy Zentangle Tile with Simple Gemstone Center, Diva Dance, Joki, and Henna Drum

In today’s video, I show a pretty combination of patterns with an open center that can be filled with a simple gemstone or a message. I used Diva Dance and Tipple around the center, then surrounded it with Joki and Henna Drum.

Supplies Used in the video:
Zendala, 3.5" Zentangle tile, a sketchbook, or any paper
Black Micron 01 pen or PN (or your choice of pens and colors)
Graphite pencil (any pencil should work)
Blending stump
Optional: Colored pens or pencils

I LOVE this tile.....I really enjoyed watching the Joki tangle and know it will become one of my favorites, I have so many and Henna Drum is one that I love and use often!!! Can not wait to draw this today!!! Thanks so much for teaching, sharing and inspiring!!! Hugs from Canada!

@@notperfectzen I love that you always respond...I have a question for you. I have seen a lot of CZT's using a Generals white charcoal pencil for highlights on white tile or whatever they are drawing with. My pages in my sketch book also are white and when I use my Generals white charcoal pencil it shows up sort of yellowish, I don't like the way it looks compared to my white paper. The camera shows the pencil as white as snow....is something wrong with mine or are they all like that? I hope that makes sense?

That’s interesting! Mine never show up yellowish. If it looks white before you use it, then I have no idea what’s happening. I don’t use them very often on the white tiles. The ZHQ tiles are a light cream color, not exactly white. The white charcoal pencil shows up best over the tan or black tiles.

@@notperfectzen Thank you, I think the tiles being a bit off white may be the reason because my pages are snow white. It is a mystery, I only tried it once and only because everyone is using it to highlight the white area's, but I don't find it necessary! The lead is snow white as well....very curious, but mixed with the charcoal or ink may be what's causing it to change color.
