Debtors are the persons from whom we have to receive certain money, hence they are treated as our assets so need to be shown on debit side. Purchase return means assume we have purchased certain goods from a shopkeeper, but due to dissatisfaction we return them back to shopkeeper, so he will give us our money back.which is income to us. So income and revenues shown on credit side Purchase needs to be shown on debit side and purchase return on credit side

Hello mam , how bills receivable is debit and bills payable is credit?

See bills receivable refers to amount which we have to receive from others. Hence it is treated as our current asset. And all assets are shown on debit side And bills paylable means we have to pay certain amount to others so that is our current liability. And all liabilities are shown on credit side..
