Takes me back to July of last year (2019) when I first flew anywhere. It was to Jersey EZY37SL with my girlfriend. In that position of making my way to the plane and ascending the steps I felt an enormous sense of something. Could it have been nervous excitement? I was nervous but also excited. Could it have been butterflies in the stomach? This was it. The moment of truth. The moment I had waited most of my life for and it was actually happening and happening now. Once inside it was surreal. Like it wasn't a real place. It was so strange and new to me. I had never been in a cabin of a plane before. Then the plane started moving. That was when whatever it was inside of me really started to race. I think it was pure adrenaline. I was not prepared though for the acceleration and the takeoff G-forces. Incredible sensation that did little to dampen my adrenaline or whatever it was. I hope to do it again.
