Finally got it up and running. The only delays we had was because we realized we needed some extra parts (I’ll list that below) kzbin.infoUgkxihMYiJNXcHdbH-7ihymsLz61l7jVyb5O . So we have a loft where our current hvac just couldn’t seem to keep cool during the summer. We have been using a window unit since we bought this house over 6 years ago (all the houses in this neighborhood were built in the 80’s and majority of the houses built like ours use a window unit). I hate window units because they are just so noisy and the one we had really only cools one side of the loft. I had contemplated upgrading our current HVAC, but with all the rising prices these days, it would take years before saving up enough to do that. With the advice of my father-in-law (used to run an HVAC business), he recommended we get an inverter instead. We thought we bought everything we needed, but there were just a few other parts we didn’t anticipate needing (which is what caused most of our delay). My friend and father-in-law did all the work to get it installed and running and now we have nice cool air circulating nicely throughout the entire loft. It is very quiet and even the outside unit is much quieter than our main HVAC unit. Saved ourselves thousands getting this.

In this example, you should have used a common manifold with blue, red, yellow lines ... so, it would be clear that the yellow line is attached to the direct eject tube.

I’m picking up 2 of these tomorrow, how am I supposed to purge the lines prior to injection?
@randybird9979Ай бұрын
you can't, the only way to burp the line is use the injector gun then proceed with the lines and burp at the tank, people are doing it with out the injector gun, but you get some sir in the line, injector gun is the only way around it

I would think to connect the stop-leak hose to your manifold’s lines, put some refrigerant in there, purge then proceed…? I’ve never used this product before.

What if Nitrogen has been pumped into the system to check for leak? Will this work with nitrogen?
@garyroy35036 жыл бұрын
A system has to be full of Refrigerant for any additive, Nitrogen is only in for a temporary test of the system and then it is removed. Once the unit is vacuumed and refilled with gas, you can then and only then add a liquid additive. Use the only non-polymer formula for conditioning and sealing leaks... www.stopHVACleak.com

Everyone who uses this is making a mistake this can clog your capillary tubes and your needle inside of your TXV and it causes more problems than what it's worth and this is coming from a guy who has over 17 years of experience dealing with this crap. And then you don't know if you're refrigerants contaminated because so many people working on the same AC and if you don't charge with pure liquid for example if you charge with the bottle right side up you're not actually charging the unit with all of the mixtures of each gas you're not getting a concentrated mixture you're only getting one or two of the gases. This causes problems because the gas mixture is no longer the same as it is when you charge liquid the best thing to do is remove all the old refrigerant replace the dryer Purge and vacuum with nitrogen two or three times then charged with 100% new liquid refrigerant bam problem-solve you're welcome

@@stevee7774 bro what are you even talking about all you got to do is replace a TXV or if a compressor goes out or if a fan motor goes out you don't stop by whole new piece of equipment inside and out every 10 years. Now if you got that kind of money then by all means but sounds like somebody's not maintaining their system or paying someone to do it.

Don't miss out on the "Original" and very first A/C Stop Leak, the one that was originally developed for the government 30 years ago and then later offered to the HVAC service industry. ACT is simply the best because it is simple... Multiple high tech oils blended with propriety pre-manufactured micron-sized soild particulates. Of most importance though... it is "Not an activated product" like all the others. Just read the manufacturer's explanations of how they work and you will discover it is a "Reaction to moisture upon exiting the system and subsequent hardening that forms a patch on the exterior of tubing". What ??? The first question would be, how does it not likewise react to moisture "inside" the system? The second question should be, how does a "liquid" product exiting the system at velocity make a 180 degree turn around and then come back to the surface to create a hard patch? I would think this idea fights the laws of physics but hey, maybe they have figured out a way to beat these laws. Honestly, what happens is they harden "inside" the system and the resultant blobs float around until they stick in a hole, or worse, they clog a valve an orifice or a cap tube. The worse part is these "alternatives" are expensive when compared to ACT, actually about twice the price. Try the first and only real "non-polymer" A/C Stop Leak, but also benefit when it likewise lowers vent temperatures, kills acid, modifies water molecules, super lubricates the compressor, controls oil fouling, reduces compressor noise, lowers electric bills and more. Check it out and you will never go back to the Johnny come lately "copycats", we unconditionally guarantee it. www.stopHVACleak.com and www.134acStopLeak.com We welcome your comments and encourage you to try our revolutionary product, so you can learn the truth and facts concerning safely stopping leaks. Wholesale, factory direct to all installers, you will save thousands of dollars per season if you currently purchase as few as 20 treatments per year.

Hi Jimmy, thanks for your response and questions. We use a small high pressure pump to inject the ACT oil, while the system is running. It only takes a few ounces to completely treat a house size system and about 60 seconds to do the entire installation. Please give me a call if you would like to discuss the procedure and the tool, I would be happy to speak with you. www.stopHVACleak.com 1(800) 266-4497

@MichaelThyben8 ай бұрын
@@quasimotto8653my mother is out there I recommended hard start kits absolutely I have been hvac since 14 and am 25 now . Love them keep the compressors running for longer and lower start up amperage . As well the direct seal you can order online and as your system cycles on for cool buy a manifold for $120 bucks and a tank for 410A and learn how to install your own refrigerant will save you thousands flip jug upside down and on a hot day temps should be reading on blue side (big line) which is suction . And smaller line which is liquid also called high side as follows (120-135 suction) and high side /(270-320) just cause the heat in Texas is ridiculous you might have a high suction if your coil is dirty and struggling to pull air etc or outdoor coil has clog as well hose off those outdoor coils and you can scrub inside ones with a toothbrush VERY gently just remove the big stuff as well get some HIGH velocity compressed air to shoot through hood this helps!

I bought this on Amazon. Schrader valve will not open as reported in many comments below. No option to return on Amazon. You have to go through manufacturer who gives you the run around asking you to send emails and promises someone will contact you in 24 hours. A waste of time and money. Very disappointed with the manufacturer and Amazon. Will go back to EBay at least they support their customers. Do not buy this product if it is defective you are just out $40.
