What is forward bias and reverse bias || reverse bias or forward bias diode kiya hota hai

Hi there, I am Mazhar Iqbal welcome to our KZbin channel Easy Skill, where I explain various topics in electronics in an easy and fun way. In this video, I will explain what is reverse bias and forward bias diode in the simplest way possible with examples.
A diode is a device that allows current to flow in one direction but blocks it in the other direction. It has two terminals: an anode (positive) and a cathode (negative). A diode is made of a p-n junction, which is a boundary between two types of semiconductor materials: p-type and n-type. P-type has more holes (positive charge carriers) than electrons, while n-type has more electrons (negative charge carriers) than holes.
When we connect a diode to a battery or a voltage source, we can have two situations: forward bias or reverse bias. Forward bias means that the positive terminal of the battery is connected to the anode of the diode, and the negative terminal of the battery is connected to the cathode of the diode. In this case, the battery pushes the holes from the p-type to the n-type, and the electrons from the n-type to the p-type. This reduces the barrier between the two regions and allows current to flow through the diode.
Reverse bias means that the positive terminal of the battery is connected to the cathode of the diode, and the negative terminal of the battery is connected to the anode of the diode. In this case, the battery pulls the holes from the n-type to the p-type, and the electrons from the p-type to the n-type. This increases the barrier between the two regions and prevents current from flowing through the diode.
To illustrate these concepts, I will show you some examples of circuits that use diodes in forward and reverse bias. You will see how diodes can be used for different purposes, such as rectifying AC to DC, controlling signals, protecting devices, and creating light.
