Not in the market for a controller right now, but I just gotta thank you guys for using larger sticks than the standard small JoyCon style that Backbone and Kishi use. Those are not suitable for shooters. Will definitely put this on the list for when I upgrade to a USB-C iPhone.

really good review! purchased after watching this. Really wanted to know if it worked with Delta which you thankfully showed! specifically with super mario bros 3. Got to world 5 and playing it with the touch controls is becoming a pain so really greatful for this review :)

That’s a crazy markup. But you know what? Even though you would pay a premium price, I would actually say that the M10 is worth $60. I’m glad it’s NOT priced at $60, but if it were I would understand it. Still, the fees on top are not cool. Sorry to hear that.

It would be nice to have a smaller controller for my S9 (A tiny phone these days). It assume it would feel similar to having a switch lite, but with a 1440p oled screen, 60hz, and a 5.7in display. What really tempts me is that price and looks like decent quality. This would definitely be better then the Kishi v1, and the kishi v1 with the S9 would look ugly.

You mean the PS5 controller’s touchpad? You still have to touch the screen for the one as far as I can tell. Top middle where the touch pad normally is.

Good question. I does not have a 3.5mm out for wired headphones. However, since the controller itself isn't connected over Bluetooth you can connect bluetooth headphones without causing any increased controller latency.

Backbone can work with spigen thin cases. Does this work with a really thin case, or doesn't work at all with cases?

Yeah. The 2nd gen backbone works with thin cases. I can’t speak for any other phone models. But the iPhone 15 Pro Max in the video fits perfectly. There’s no room for any case no matter how thin. It won’t fit under the lip above the usb-c port. I know that EasySMX is releasing a different model that is more case friendly, and I’ll be reviewing that one soon.

Not sure if you own or can loan an Android phone, but would love to know if this supports X-Input on Android or any controller protocol that would allow it to work in CODM. For some reason, only Backbone works in CODM on Android. iOS does not have this issue so it’s just kinda bizarre. A controller with good sticks for shooters that works natively in CODM on both platforms is my white whale right now. Still have not found it.

This does work on Android. In fact it was designed for it. It only recently began working on iPhone when the iPhone 15 switched to USB-C. However, I've heard from others that CODM disabled controller support on Android a while back. Not sure why. I don't have an Android to test with. But what I can say is that on iOS you have to dig deep into the settings of CODM and check a tiny box that says "Enable Controller". Even after doing that, you can't use the controller in the main menu. But after the match starts, the controller kicks in and works perfectly.

I cant get the controller to work with ps remote play. Tried booting it up then putting my phone into the controller and still no joy. Im using Samsung s23 ultra and the usb c version of the EasySMX. Anyone got a fix for this?

Really? So you were able to connect to your PlayStation with touch controls, then you put the phone in the controller and the light came on but it did nothing? That really stinks. That fixed mine right away. I'm sorry, but I'm stumped. Anyone else have any helpful ideas?

I don’t think that’s ridiculous. I get that question a lot on these mobile controller reviews. Unfortunately, this is only for phones up to 175mm. I’m using an iPhone 15 Pro Max in the video and it fits great.

Yes. That's what I have. You have to go into the settings and find a tiny little check box that says "Enable Controller". And then you have to enter a match. But once you do that it works perfectly.
