Alright nvm, the wireless dongle actually works functionaly better than my previous 200 Euro Scuf controller. Connectivity stays consistent even with things inbetween the dongle and the controller.

Watch out when buying from @easySMX. x10 unit malfunctioning after ten hours of use. RT gets stuck after being pressed; then it releases, making a loud click noise. It is not possible to play with it. I am so disappointed at their mediocre quality control and nonexistent customer service. Contact channels do not work. Be careful when buying from a Chinese brand that misleads its customers to present it as a global one.

Doesn't make a lot of sense to suggest controllers that cost 90$ in a video about a 50$ controller. That's twice as expensive almost. I would understand if a controller you are recommending is like only 10$ more expensive, but twice the cost is a bit much A more useful thing to know is if it's the best controller in 50$ or under.

I don't think it's fair to compare this controller to the V3P and Gulikit KK3. Yes these controllers go on sale, but so does the X10. I got the X10 for less than $30. The mentioned controllers are usually almost double the price. What this really competes with is the Gamesir T4 Cyclone Pro and FlyDigi Direwolf 2. All 3 controllers are very similar and I think this competes with them very well. I think the X10/X15 or Direwolf 2 are the best controllers under 50 and the V3P is the best controller under 80.

Steam is listed because of SteamOS. Though fuller compatibility, such as gyro and mappable rear buttons, can be an iffy situation given how closed off Steam Input is and how they're not shoehorning in a ton of third party controllers like reWASD is. I'm not really sure why they're listing the pad either, unless they have verified compatibility of all of the features; though the macro features on the buttons alludes to these being purely rebinds and not mappable buttons on PC, so as long as gyro shows up in SI then it has fuller compatibility with Steam OS I guess, and reWASD ended up confirming this anyways. But in reality, get used to seeing SteamOS compatibility listed, sadly it'll only be half-assed due to how closed off Steam Input is for otherwise unsupported controllers and how any generic DirectInput or RawInput controller defaults to the Xinput suite of inputs only and nothing additional. The Dpad being metal dome is likely the switch itself, a literal metal dome. Microsoft likes to use these on their Dpads, a handful of other controllers have used them here and there. They're like any other flexible dome, except the dome itself is metal, they're meant to be a bit sharper and more tactile. I also just don't get why the review is prefaced with 'ew, mecha-membranes' then you seemingly like them later. It's a choice of feel, a lot of these mouse switch style of tacts just don't have the travel or resistance you want, or even the spring-back, hence why the membrane is there to add some amount of that back. It's really no different from the arguments of rubber domes vs rubber domes, using just plain tact switches, using the springboxes Gulikit has produced, or going the full extent and using keyboard switches as at least one production controller has. Mecha-membranes are arguably harder to execute because of the membrane, glad to see this company got is mostly correct. Also keep in mind, with feel and using a tool, that thumbsticks are levers, how tall and wide the lever is will adjust feel. The only real way to test this is to take the cap off and measure at the internal stem at a known distance from the pivot's center; I'm assuming there's variance between models, especially as ALPS' newest and KSilver's newest have entirely different designs from what the typical stickbox used to be. Measuring at the internal stem also removes any error introduced by rubber, soft materials squish. When it comes to joystick behavior, this controller does have a central deadzone. The perfect snap to center indicates this, the imperfect snap to center (axis 3's ±|0.003+| value) further indicates a deadzone. However small it may be, it's still a deadzone with center snapping. Probably the most common of modern hardware deadzones. If there wasn't a deadzone and snap to center programmed into the controller, you'd see a very noisy center, especially since it's a hall stick.

I bought this controller off Amazon late June 2024. GPT gave me a resting value of .00000 and average error of .3% Not sure if they have changed anything since the unit you got, but so far I absolutely love mine. My only complaints are: I occasionally get a squeak from the DPad when pressing to the right. I wish they shipped (or at least offered for sale) a black faceplate.

Just tested my SMX X10 for circularity and it has a whopping 0.3% error rate on both sticks, almost a perfect circle! Not sure what voodoo was done with the recent firmware to make it better, or if GH got a poor sample, but mine is amazing.

@@AllStarxD Ye, i've refunded it bcs wasn't my style, the sticks feels great, really great and strong, L12 R12 feels similar to Xbox Series x controller, so that's good too, so, the ABYX feels like clicking a mouse, it feels resistent, but sometimes i felt that type of clicking can be a bit tired sometimes bcs they are a little bit hard to press, only a bit, nothing serious, but i felt my press-per-second was some slower than with series X, I don't like that, and the D-pad is the weakest point from the controller, it feels like hard and soft at the same time, like clicky but soft, i mean the d-pad sinks a bit when pressing, it's not a direct feedback press, it's unpleasant, but if you don't play things like fighting games, it shouldn't bother you much, for another hand, the controller feels really solid, you feel you have a well made controller, so premium, the latency is sick af, with cable it feels like you have an unperceptible latency, and wireless really was surprising because it feels like going wired, the latency is ridiculously low for real, you don't feel the delay, it's so stupid, that's my analysis about it, resume: everything so nice except d-pad, the ABXY depends of the person, there's so much people who liked the ABXY, and i can understand why, but after using it for a while it can be hard to press, at least for me, but i recommend you test it and refund if you don't like it, it's a pretty nice controller, and it comes with cable and 2 cases, and you can get a phone app to modify some stuff, i hope it helps

The dpad they called metal dome because it has a sticker on top of the pcb that has 4 metal domes underneath that click down to join the 2 pads on the pcb. Same as what all xbox one controllers use and many others. I often see you confuse membrane buttons when talking about dpads that are actually tactile dpads which is what the metal domes are tactile domes similar like bumpers are on all Xbox controllers just in a different format with a separate removable tactile dome on the dpad. Membrane switches are the silicone switches with a soft carbon pad for bridging the signal. Tactile buttons are generally a metal dome which is why they have a shorter press and different pressure curve along with the different tactile sound when they are pressed compared to squishy membrane buttons.

I've been gaming on xbox 360 controller for a long time then bought this one 2 days ago. It really feels unergonomic, I can't reach R1 L1 buttons comfortably and my hands get fatigued after few hours this has never happened with the 360 controller. Also the back buttons are exactly where I rest my fingers but that's on me since I picked a controller with back buttons. Maybe I need more time to get used to it but I'm really contemplating returning it.

I just got my X10 in the mail from a giveaway and the concentricity error test is 1% and 0.2% so it seems like they fixed that/properly calibrated it, anyways its a great little controller from my first impressions!

Just for the record, yesterday returned one to amazon. Reason: down in d-pad failed a lot of times if you didnt apply a bit too much force. This is a game changer in a thing like, i.e., elden ring if you cycle items fast, felt so unresponsive. Guess it could have be a lot better controller on this aspect just sticking to regular old good system for the dpad instead of mechanic for everything. Besides that, it would have been a keeper. My 2 cents.

So I waited for this review, Scourged the EARTH looking for discounts and finally found this exact controller for around $48 on the official website (Can't access amazon as its US only). After watching the review, while I was generally impressed with what other reviewers said, I waited for this review for his in depth ananlysis and honestly, thank god. while Part of me is completely fine with the bluetooth lag and still wants to go ahead and get this controller, the 2.4ghz being 6ms and not even recognized as xinput worries. I knew Build quality would be a concern and I had wished to customise it using a rubber grip kit and hydro dip the white shell for a custom look. But , my other option, the 8bitdo 2.4ghz( affordable for me and also have been updated to HE joysticks) seems very very very good rn and I could spend the rest of the money on buying some anti friction rings for the 8bitdo. Honestly Confused rn so suggestions please 🙏

@@vaibhavdesai7001 I actually own both controllers. i'd say if you're doing anything competitive go for the g7se. If both controllers are in wired mode the g7 is just better. vibration motors are better the sticks feel just a tad bit better the triggers also feel better mainly because of the rumble feature. however, if youre not doing anything competitive and the wireless is appealing to you then i do recommend the X10. I first had the G7 but after getting and testing the X10, it was good enough to make me put away the g7 for when guests come by, even though i have a cable available basically at all times. I own 2 regular xbox s/x controllers and the 2 controllers you mentioned and the one i use every day is the X10. This being said i do any competitive gaming on mouse and keyboard and only play story/adventure/racing games on controller.

This was a controller I was looking at getting in the past. After Kevin's year in review video I decided to skip it and go Vader 3 Pro. That's been a very nice controller so far. Not perfect but really good and worth the money. Better value for money compared to my Elite 2 and T4K.

Hey @Gamer Heaven I have bought this controller and it arrived today, and I am honestly (for my personal usage) very satisfied with it already, just have to see the longevity of the controller. However, I just went into gamepad tester and to my surprise the circularity test gave me 0.2% on tboth sticks for the average error rate. So I don't know how common it is for them to be this accurate compared to the one you got in the video. Still, solid first impressions for me!

I just returned a Thrustmaster ESwap X Pro controller, I started experiencing extreme stick drift after only about 1.5 months of usage. I still have a spare EasySMX X10. In picking up the controller, I remembered how I had a hard time reaching the LB and RB buttons. Also, keeping a good grip on the controller was kind of a challenge too. XBOX controllers seem to be smaller than something like the Logitech controllers. I'm going to give this controller another shot though.

I seem to be unable to use the onboard gyro while connected to PC. Very annoying as I bought it soecifically for gyro aiming on my laptop.

You need to use it in switch mode. Hold down the power button for 3 secs after changing to switch mode, then it should enter pairing. From there, add as a bluetooth device like any other. If you want gyro in Steam games, you need to "enable support for Steam input on Switch Pro Controllers" within Steam itself, and you should then be able to map the gyro functionality. I can confirm the gyro works on this as I bought it specifically as a second emulation controller for Ryujinx/Yuzu, Cita & CEMU on my PC.

Wanted to buy 2 new controller for a pc windows 11 setup. After some search i came to the conclusion that controllers are getting stupid expensive. Expecially when you want to use up to 4 of them for couch coop fun. While this one seems fine for my setup, i just use my microsoft 360 wireless dongle and 360 controller and look for another used 360 controller instead. Those were in my opinion pretty good or at least enough for me. I wonder, how bad are those when you test and compare them to something like this? I also wonder that nobody tests this controller using multiple ones. I imagine some of them need a lot of troubleshooting when you try to use 2-4 of them on a windows pc.

I just noticed its on sale for 30 bucks at amazon. I have the gamesir g7se but been looking for a different controller lately. A lot of people including me have noticed since they updated the software people are having very weak aim assist in games with the g7se. I know it sounds crazy but for a long time I had very weak aim assist after that update used other controllers had way more aim assist.... people were saying turn off the aim assist in game and turn back on which seems to fix it for a while. I don't know if its a bug or what but its annoying everyone in the discord talking about it under the 1000hz update section. Other people were saying the game thinks were using a mouse when we tab or something I have no idea but I do notice a message on my screen popping up saying can't use mouse right now on cod like over and over lol

Only reason i wanted is so i can use the wireless micro buttons for competitive play and well at 6ms that's just yeah no and i was thinking of using Bluetooth not 2.6hz... yea using ai for stable diffusion specifically is a no go for me as an artist at least. We already have ai in our game enemies, object avoidance, animation interpolation etc. They don't need to push mid designs and make it worse by showing they put no effort in

This is just a flydigi clone, it even has the same phone holder mount at the top between R1 and L1 that flydigy uses... or is that mount at the top of the controller a china thing or is this a literal rebranded clone?

this controller is much better than 8BitDo Ultimate Bluetooth & 2.4g which costs more and not compatible with Switch also its Dpad works like trash.

It’s quite a bit different than the cyclone which I own the standard and pro version. For example this has mechanical face buttons, dpad and bumpers which the cyclone doesn’t

If am not mistaken the T4 Cyclone has no anti-friction ring. The Easy SMX X10 however does.

Im gonna be honest, im glad it doesnt have rubber grips. Rubber grips have TERRIBLE livespan on controllers and get covered in so much gunk 🤢
