Take this video down. Worthless information on all of the "methods" of that video. DNS can NOT affect ping. For Tekken 7 players my advice is to port forward and avoid WiFi connections that are not super stable. You may also call your provider and ask for help because in some cases depending the country/area you are, Steam and other similar online services are being blocked or restricted. I do like Tekken 7 and that is why I bother taking the time to comment here.

2023 and it still works, this is actually so goated. I use to average about 60-40 ping now im averaging 30-20, not a big difference but it still lowered my ping by a decent amount, W video

Poe used to run between 200-300 ms in my new place, and it used to spike like alllll the time beyond that; I was seriously losing hope after many hours of trying different things. worked pretty ok! my ping usually spikes from being okay (20-60) to going all the way up to 600s and making the game im playing pretty much unplayable. after this, it still spikes but the ping stays around 40-60 and only spikes a little bit. so this did improve it slightly. thanks!

okay so im leaving a comment here, beginner overwatch player, im literally losing every single round because I get like 200ms at the beginning of each round, will update once computer restarts :) Edit: okay, ping dropped from 200 to like 130 spikes sometimes, it was still laggy, but not NEARLY as bad as before. also, a tip for lag in overwatch, dont start a practice round waiting for the actual round, it will lower your ping by a BUNCH and it will no longer spike
