Hi bro i need some help of you I can not boot my Phoenix OS it is showing Windows Failed to Start A Recent Hardware or Software Change Might Be The Cause. Plz fix it for me

It's just not reading your hard drive. Master boot record will still be repaired.

You didn't break it 💀 all you had to do was just use another installation media if this didn't work or you messed it up on accident by messing up windows files and reinstall windows, software can't break hardware unless you do it on purpose

I. Love. You. I was convinced that the problem was in the software, so I didn’t do anything externally. When you said to remove and put back the Hard Drive, I realized that my SSD had a cable unplugged. I plugged it in, and my freak-out sessions from the past two days are FINALLY over. Moral of the story: always do the obvious.

I had this issue arise in a fairly complicated way due to restoring an incremental backup from the AOMEI backupper software. After much pain and many time consuming troubleshooting steps, this fairly simple procedure is what ultimately fixed it. Thank you so much, this got me back producing again and oh so happy 🤘

For anyone whose issue might be related to the first step and using a pc not a laptop. Check that your boot drive is connect to the physical first port in your mother board. My issue was that I had my boot drive plugged into the 4th slot on my motherboard but changing the boot order to make it first in my bios which won’t work. So after watching this video I realised I needed to unplug it and change it to the first slot in accordance to the motherboard manual. It booted first time.

I find it really suspicious that it just seemed to happen right after I stopped my subscription to Microsoft 365 ( to use Word to write my various college assignments ) this happened! For others with my issue.. If you are using a macbook, emulator to use Windows 1. Restart 2. Get the pop up that is showing in this video 3. click escape three times. It will reboot your computer in your original operating system. You may re-download another software and use boot camp. You will lose your data from your bootcamp transfer.

I replaced my battery with a new original one and Windows on my Alienware 15 R3 no longer started and showed me "No Bootable Device". 😱 I struggled for 2 days to reboot my PC and start Windows 10 in UEFi, Legacy mode, on USB key, in short I tried everything and without success. 😩 In the end I then had the brilliant idea of unplugging and reconnecting my SSD drive (C drive) on which Windows 10 is installed and it worked as before, I didn't lose any files or programs, everything worked as before.💡

Hmm, well, I actually _had_ my installation disc, which is what ultimately fixed my problem, but this video helped me make sure I had the same error screen, so thanks for that at least. In my case I had a dual-boot with Windows 7 and Windows 10 and my Windows 7 CD did the trick and restored everything. Seems to have also fixed the battery indicator too...
