I replaced a new Mastertemt 400 heater but now I can't control it from the EasyTouch. It works great but I have to do everything from the heater panel. What do I need to do sync them?

You have to wire it to a relay in the Easy Touch .

Have a question I stop by a potential customers house today they have the old I five Pentair control panel the only way the pump turns on and off is by the breaker when I turn the breaker on equipment comes on but when I put it in service mode or timeout mode and even turn off the filter button it does not matter the only way the pump shuts on and off is by the breaker just trying to figure out how to fix it do you have any ideas

Yes, leave it in auto and the program will run automatically.

Do you happen to know if the 4 relay version of the current easytouch can be upgraded by adding relays, or does it require a control board swap? I know the 4 has all the same buttons/etc, but I was curious if it's upgradeable.

I’m having a problem pool heater relay. I bypassed the relay to the breaker to test if heater works and it does. I test the relay itself and it closes but when it’s hooked up and I press the heater mode the contact doesn’t close.

Hello, I enjoy your videos. Lately, every-time I turn on the spa, it drains empty into our pool. I can’t seem to fix it. It doesn’t matter if it’s through the app or at the easy touch panel. Got any ideas?

Sounds like a bad valve actuator. Next time you put it into spa mode watch and see if both valves turn.

i have a customer who removed a variable speed pump from a ez touch 8&4 system box..the single speed pump i installed has no control from the ez touch but only the breaker switch if switch is tripped to off pump will go off if tripped on it will turn on but not from the f button..to me that sounds like previous tech bi-passed the relays and conected to breaker direct..right?

Sounds like it is not connected to the relay for some reason.

How do you pair the Easy Touch remote to the control panel. Mine says "No Comm" on the screen.

Bring it closer to the panel until it connects. Point it at the antenna also helps. Range is pretty weak.

How does it compare to the Jandy iAqualink 3.0 computer system? Which is better and why?

I like the Easy touch because of the outside control panel. It is also pretty bullet proof as far as reliability. Nothing wrong with the AquaLink but Pentair is preferred by many builders.

Hi:) somehow I accidentally set more than one program to run, says 1/9 after the cleaner and I can’t get it back to 1/1. Do I need to reset the whole thing? Thanks!

Do you know how i can drain the pool with this system for at least 4-5 inches of water?

You would need a separate Utility Pump. They are like $80 and if you attach a garden hose to it and let it sit on a step that will work best.,

If you want to use your spa with heat and jets how can you do that

From your controller you just need to put it in spa mode nd then hit the heater button to enter heater settings. Pretty Easy

@@SPL ok and I hit the menu button then went to heater then clicked on spa and put spa temp at 104 and turned heat on under the spa setting then went to the menu and I put it back on auto then I turned on my spa and jets and no heat comes out

Doesn’t the filter pump button control the pump. Why is there a filter pump button and a pool button?

I cannot find the word " cleaner " anywhere. It is not on a label or under POOL settings. My underwater flaps don't open. Moved into the house a few weeks ago. Help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Would you know why the intelliflo pump won’t turn on on auto? It only turns on on service mode or timeout since I gotta turn pump on from the pump itself. Also on the easy touch screen next to pool says "err" would you know why?

Sounds like a short somewhere. Turn them off at the breaker from the panel.

My husband really wanted a pool, but didn’t factor in all the maintenance that comes with it and and future repairs. We were in a bad car accident last month (t boned by a car being chased by the police that left both of us out of work for a few months) and this is added stress I don’t need so I very much appreciate your help. I shall do this until we get back up on our feet and we are able to hire a technician.

Hello, thanks for the video, I have a panel with a remote control that are not working properly, I don’t know if it is the control or the panel that it is not working. When I active the mode “auto” in the panel, everything continue working as it is on manual mode. Any idea about what is happening?

Better if you call Pentair Tech support while you are at the panel. They can walk you through the steps to check it.
