I felt like I've visited this country all over again. This is my husband's country , and he is from. San Fernando , Trinidad. And the 1st time he toke me it was and still is a great country. I just love this country so much. If you haven't gone yet , you will not be disappointed at all. The people the culture is most splendorous, you wouldn't want to leave.

Trinidad is a truly unique place. I have traveled to 28 countries. Some have better beaches, lower crime rates, better infrastructure etc. But when it comes to cuisine, vibrant culture, carnival Trinidad has all of them beat

Crime is in every country. We need to look.at the positives of any nation. BIG UP TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO 🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹
@islandgirl33303 жыл бұрын
@@hkular5220 it is unfortunate that the media never ever tells the world all the positive things about Trinidad. Yet there are people from all over the world coming to live there. You don't leave a good house to come to a bad house. They need to take an example from the Jamaicans. I have visited Jamaica many times and if they can be so patrioatic about their country so can we. We have a lot to be proud about. I know what I am talking about.
@hkular52203 жыл бұрын
@@islandgirl3330 I agree 100% The issue is, Western Media try to tarnish countries that are within Africa, Asia, South America, Caribbean where they are not the majority. Best advice is to go there and experience it yourself.Trinidad is the home of Carnival, Soca, Curry Goat and beaches. 🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹

Just an FYI so you get the taste - They pronounce it tsmbran which is actually tamarind. Amazing how it’s utilized to make sweet and savory things! One of childhood favorites was tamarind balls. A fair amount of tamarind mixed with a touch of crushes red chilies rolled in white sugar into a ball. Street food/ snack; actually school yard snack ie junk food 😀
