Good morning Kevin and Jane .... I'm drinking my morning brew while watching you. 😂🍻☕ I would think you would find more green insulators because Canada had many varieties. ( We buy them here in Pennsylvania when we can because they always sell very well. )

Wimpy and Popeye charm is a really cool find Kevin. Those marbles are spectacular too. The red plastic hotel you found is a Monopoly piece. The plastic typewriter is a unique find too. That is a fun digging spot. Interesting variety of small items. Cheers Kevin and perhaps you may dig up one of those rare cobalt Bromo Seltzer bottles. LOL ! LOL ! Have a great weekend !

The Popeye and Wimpy item was a really neat find...Popeye and his pals were some of my favourite cartoon characters.Old school but classic...nothing even close to that these days.My other favourite thing about this dig was your comment on rarity...that was spot on.In my mind the rarity goes with the number of bottles( glass or stoneware) found/ known from a dozen down to one.One to three in decent condition puts them in the ultra rare zone!
@Travelling..Bottle..Digger5 ай бұрын
Right... some of these guys seem to be digging the same stuff up every other video... like me digging up Minard's Liniment bottles around here. Just because noone else is digging them up, doesn't make them rare lol You see it in those bottle groups on line too... someone claims a bottle is rare, but 12 other people post the same bottle that month

Very cool spot to dig and don't often get to see that type of stuff being dug! The insulator is an awesome find but a real heartbreaker. It's a CD 112.4 which is not very common as it has the two wire grooves which were used for crossing over the telephone wires at regular distances to prevent the signal from migrating into each other. Either a dark green or dark olive green as the price guide shows and rarity based on the embossing or lack of but is at least a $50 insulator. Stunning blue swirl marble and that one at the end is likely a dark red amber like the shooter version I dug last year.

I have had guns pointed at me, I've have had cops looking for me, thinking I was burying a body. i have quit good jobs and moved just to dig bottles. nothing will deter me.

There is a place in Upstate NY that has to be one of the largest bottle dump plus. It is in a gully you have to hike up about a mile and you get to a water fall and there is the remains of an old car from the 30s on the side of the gully 40 foot up from the stream that is where we go up and the finds there are amazing whole bottles no damge to be found with light raking and more than bottles found a small gold framed daguerreotype picture in dirty but great shape 2 inch by 2.5 inch. Place is impossible to find if you don't know where to start.
