Live 1977 VIDEO 1819pm 12.3.23 probably ate alphabetti spaghetti and made words out of those tomato sauce caked letters and had the clash eat those words...after it, the clash, suggested it wouldn't get very far... well , it has. eater has been remembered and recollected for posterity and that, my friend, is all those idiots wanted to achieve. irrespective of their idealism or lack of it. i am now wondering which punk bands and which pop kultural geniuses i am dealing with in my day to day living re: band members of this or that band and their younger siblings and/or sprogs.. ie that lead singer looks familiar... could even be the relation of magazine's drummer..... the one who buggered off to swing out sister.

real punk rock as it was in 76/77, forget shite like the exploited and all those mohican types, this audience is what original punk rockers looked like, amazing that that original look just completely disappeared by about 79 to be replaced by the boring, stereotype of the mohican with his massive docs and crappy bondage trousers( a slight link with the start of course)

@@BGNOLA Yeah saw all the UK bands here in the UK in early 1980 many times like Discharge, Exploited, anti Pasti and vice Squad and even ANWL etc who many times were on the same bill. You had great bands too in the USA from those times like Husker Du, Dag Nasty, Minor Threat, Bad Religion, Bad Brains etc
