It's not pain, it's so much pleasure it's a 360 degree flip. Trust me once you start eating peppers like this they are like drugs. They become tolerable. I can literally bite into Habanero and say " that's spicy" and be okay a half hour later...considering the fact that a Habanero is literally about 1000x more spicy than a Jalapeno which most people can't even handle. I mean my weekly regiment is to chop up some Serrano peppers "each one 30x spicy than a Jalapeno" and I eat like 8 of those a week. I chop those up throw them on basically, everything...those are weak ass peppers to me. I throw a few on eggs, I throw some on top of 5 Star spicy teriyaki (which is so much weaker now in America.)

After having tried a Carolina reaper 2 times, one dried and one fresh, it’s the most agonising thing I’ve ever done. I can handle spice, have eaten hot curries no issues, have eaten ghost peppers and they’re very agonising too. But Carolina reaper takes it to another level. The fresh one was the worst, and made my glands swell up so much, and my head feel like it was going to pop, I worried I was having a reaction and needed to call the doctor. I was in pain for half an hour, and my stomach in pain for a couple days. Don’t recommend, this guy handled it well.
@RepublicFREEman Жыл бұрын
Peppers literally do not cause any sort of pain. Peppers literally induce endorphins. If you need to seek a doctor after ingesting them it's purely because of anxiety because you believe you need to seek medical attention you do not need. I mean peppers are literally more healthy than almost any kind of fruit. When you eat a spicy pepper you think it's painful, but it's actually not. That's endorphins. literally pleasure centers of the brain; any of a group of hormones secreted within the brain and nervous system and having a number of physiological functions. They are peptides which activate the body's opiate receptors, causing an analgesic effect.

I bought some Carolina Reaper almonds. For a while I was afraid to try them because I've had a three pepper hot sauce that was rated 1.3 million scoville so know what burn feels like. Although the almonds were definitely hot [noticeably hotter than a habanero] I'm assuming they culled the flavor while limiting the heat because they were nowhere near the level of the hot sauce. But they were on a blow out sale so I'm guessing people either didn't like them or were afraid to buy them so were just sitting on the shelf. I actually liked them and ate the whole can in a couple of days and went back and bought the remaining stock.

I mean he does hold the Guinness record for eating the most Carolina reapers in 1 minute. Not too shabby.

How many did he eat?

The anchors were enjoying his pain as was the Carolina Reaper eater! Isn't that sadomasochism? 😁

Sadomaso = you like to inflict pain on yourself. Masochism = you like it when others inflict pain on you. Sadism = you like it when you inflict pain on others.

I noticed that the pepper is still fresh, and it seems that those that are dry are the most painful.

I chopped up a garden fresh ghost pepper and put it in some salsa, and right now im having a week snack on it lol. I love these types of peppers man, yes their hot, but they also have a GREAT flavor underneath the over whelming heat.

I just ate a half of these with chicken and rice and I was pacing around crying and sweating mad for 5-10 min. Didn’t last much longer than that but the burn just gets hotter and hotter.. delicious!

He sums it up pretty good. Spicy hot is kind of fun. I love my hotsauces but I'm lightyears away from eating one of those.

The average person would have a meltdown if they ate a single Birds Eye chill pepper, which is only around 100,000 scoville units. The Reaper is around 20 times hotter than that, so this guy did exceptionally well.

This is Greg Foster. Guinness World Record holder for most Carolina reapers eaten in 1 minute. I’ve met him. Level, Normal, good human being. This clip is hilarious. Perfect timing. But he is really handing the spice at comedic level. He’s eaten 70 of those things in a minute. This is just Tuesday.

Most people have absolutely ZERO understanding of just how hot these things can be. You cannot imagine and nothing can prepare you.

Reapers are great. About a 30 minute burn. Climbs for 5, peaks for 15, slow descent for 10. It’s a nice ride 🌶️🔥
