Im 51 and my daughter is 27. This reminds me of crazy stuff we used to do together. We were never this dumb but we had alot of fun. Having a daughter was such an amazing experience. Just 1 though. You guys look like your have fun together and her concern for you was just awesome. She was so worried about her daddy. Good job braving through that dumbness!!😅 BTW I have two boys too 29, 20. For anyone who is tempted to try this, don't!! It's worse than you can imagine. It's not just insanely hot in your mouth. It causes a lot of other pain that you don't expect. Plus the intestinal distress you will have for 2 to 3 days is really bad as well. I did this challenge a year ago and I completely regret it.

I learned a trick from eating a bunch of super hots a few years ago, even though it seems counter intuitive, close your mouth and don't open it for several minutes. Eventually the saliva build up in your mouth will dull the screaming heat to a more tolerable level. Taking drinks of milk, although it sooths for the second, seems to reignite the sensation of max pain once you open your mouth again lol

Honestly, if you want to get a sense of how hot these peppers are, the secret is to only eat a small piece. You will be amazed how hot even a tiny sliver of Ghost, Scorpion or Carolina Reaper can be!

The Reaper burn is primarily focused in the throat. Your mouth burns for sure, but for me, the throat was the worst. As for the stomach, I've heard that people who don't fully chew the pepper end up suffering from bad stomach pain. That's why I spent as long chewing as I did.

Me and my friends was all partying around the buying fire one night. Of course we was all drunk and somebody said I bet there's nobody here that will eat a whole habanero pepper. So I looked around and out of all the people that was there around the bonfire party and nobody said anything so the guy said I will pay somebody $100 if they will eat the whole habanero pepper. Nobody took him up on that offer so I looked at him and I said show me the $100. He showed me and he gave it to somebody to hold to prove that I would get the $100 and I ate the habanero pepper. Not grew up with all brothers and all uncles so I grew up a tomboy in the country. So I consider myself pretty tough but I tell you what. I ate the whole habanero pepper but that was the worst pain I have ever been in in my life. It felt like somebody was just stabbing my tongue and mouth millions and millions and millions of times over and over and over again. I ate some bread trying to kill the pain with something and somebody said eat some bread so I ate bread like a half a loaf and it did not work. Come to find out you can drink milk and it will kill the burning and pain. So then I was dared another time to eat a Carolina reaper. That was a bit too I just don't remember what the BET was that I won but I did eat the Carolina reaper and it was hotter than the damn habanero pepper and I thought habanero peppers was the hottest ones there was till I ate a Carolina reaper. Needless to say it made me cry like a baby too. I was not tougher than that pepper. Lol.

I made a curry for two and used HALF a reaper. Half a reaper in a curry that filled a medium sized pan. And even then, it was far too hot for me. Took me one hour and 45 minutes to finish it, and I needed 4 naan breads and 2 pints of milk. It's no joke. I think maybe if I'd have cooked it for an extra 2 hours it might have helped. Or maybe using 1/8th of a pepper. So eating a whole one raw is just mental.
