as a washingtonian and native american, your excitement over geoduck makes my heart happy. So many people refuse to try it because of how it looks, but the local tribes have lived off of it long before this part of America was colonized. Thank you for being brave enough to try something new, and for branching out to truly experience what my home has to offer. I love Geoduck. It has a texture in between squid and mussels, and a taste I would describe as a cross between a scallop and a mussel. Not quite as sweet as a Scallop, but a much more... I don't want to say rubbery-texture; more like when you bite into a juicy sausage and you get that pop followed by all the juices. That is the experience of the top part of the clam; the bottom is a bit more chewy, though not rubbery. Definitely something I would recommend, but let's face it, Shellfish are awesome. If the scallop is the Crab meat of the Mullosks then Geoduck would be the Lobster. In my experience it's best if you have a little bit of everything and rotate between them.

If the pork ribs are tender, Micah's in! This channel gives us the opportunity to explore foods and cultures and countries we may never experience ourselves. I grew up and live in Seattle. I have never heard of either of the places you went to. The breweries are all new in Bellingham, there used to not be so many. It has become more popular in recent years. I bet you would love Vancouver, Canada. There is a ton of food places you would love.
