Eating at Sydney Fish Market TWICE 🦀 with 2023 prices

[Sydney Travel Vlog #2] We love our seafood and the Sydney Fish Market is easily one of my favourite spots in Australia. Here's a short walk around and what we ate (over $500!). I visit the market often (whenever I get a craving for oysters). So if you're visiting the market for the first time, here are my travel tips:
1. Weekday to avoid crowds, ideally before 12pm
2. Sit indoors if you don't like the winter wind blowing in your face as you eat or you're uncomfortable with birds. It's rare but I've heard of birds snatching sashimi off the table. Also, ibises are pretty scary.
3. BYO dipping sauces. If you like your chilli or asian dipping sauces (like my parents), it would be best to bring your own. Do you have your oysters with a tiny bit of tabasco?
4. BYO beverages. Okay there's a wine store, deli, bakery and bubble tea store at the market but I like the options at grocery marts. We took the 389 bus from Hyde Park to Harris Street and dropped by Friendly Grocer to grab some juices. They have cheaper soju there too.
5. Do a walk through the market if you are on a budget, because you're going to find the same sushi / lobster mornay / aburi scallop at almost every store. www.sydneyfishmarket.com.au/H...

Nice video . I feel fortunate that I can walk down to the beach from where I live and collect pippis and eat oysters straight off the rocks at low tide 😋 And it's free 😁

Hello! I’m not sure which shop you were referring to, but we ate mostly at Christie’s Seafood (indoor seating), with mudcrab from Peter’s and lobster from Nicholas I think.
