I owned a small diner. The favorites were our homemade biscuits and gravy, our French Toast was Texas Toast dipped in whipped eggs and a touch of heavy cream. It was served with a small bowl of powdered sugar and warm syrup or by choice, a bowl of fresh strawberries. The biggest seller was our old fashioned Steam Burgers. We sold them by the bag or singles. That sandwich looked like it would hit the spot!

After watching the video. I think this place deserves 4 Stars because I liked the Mom & Pop vibes ( something different than Denny's or IHOP) and the food looked Amazing. Especially, the scrambled eggs with cheese ( I like my scrambled eggs with cheese slices ), and the fact that they added white instead of yellow is a plus. The only thing lacking was the French toast ( but no one is perfect ). If I lived in Connecticut I would have breakfast there.

i ordered a colorado omelette from ihop recently and it was really quite good made me think of the scrambled eggs and cheese, an omelette usually always has it cooked into the eggs somewhat rather than slices

My Two Cents: I think the breakfast looked good. I also think they should offer french toast with the following bread options: Regular white (probably a few days old for firmness), Brioche, French baguette and Ciabatta. When bread is firmer, it holds ingredients and flavor better and doesn't make for a soggy, wet, or mushy outcome, not that yours was. They may also want to consider additional syrup flavor options, including a sugar-free option. And for those who love their bacon very crispy (me), they should probably fry it a little longer, or offer thick pieces of bacon that can be fried very hard, to the point of semi- burned, and still have great flavor. 🤤😋

Daym, Pro Foodie tip. Next time try asking for Cheddar Cheese Scrambled Eggs, which means incorporating the cheese inside the eggs, vs with, which means a partnership rather than mixing them. Just saying....

If you want crispy bacon, cover the bacon with flour. Put it in a 375 degree oven. After 10 mins. take the bacon out and put it in for another 10 mins. Take it out and enjoy. I tried it and it was the crispiest bacon I ever put in my mouth.

I love your stuff, BUT you should have tried the homefries!!! I personally judge a breakfast place on its homefries. Bacon 2nd and eggs last. Bummer...go back and get some homefries and do a short on them and let us know if they are any good...please.
