That's the largest lobster roll I've ever seen! The ones here in California are like half that size, and are usually served on bread that looks like a hotdog bun.

When I see a solid restaurant with low ratings, I wonder how many are based on a single, bad experience. Then I wonder how many are people who posted a bad rating to get the restaurant to offer them some kind of discount or recompense for the bad experience. I always give my bad experiences a second visit and experience about 6 months later to see if things got better or if I just walked in on a bad day. Either way, I don't ever ask for discounts or a free dish if I'm not a regular patron. Giving bad reviews to get something is shrewd (and I can understand how that could be "slick") but it's also dishonest and what goes around, ... 😁

My husband and I visited this restaurant on a trip to Massachusetts. The restaurant itself has seen better days, the section we were seated in had high booths and ours was ripped and duct taped over. For the middle of the day, the bar and restaurant was busy. Every server, busboy, bartender were exceptionally nice. We ordered appetizers and food, waited for our drinks. All the food came out at once. The hot food was luke warm at best and my lobster roll was plentiful but over dressed with mayo or something. It's a local establishment where you visit after being at the club. Will I go again? No. We paid for our food and tipped the busy waitress, generously. I've had better seafood in RI, CT, Ma and ME.

I’m a real southern girl I come from a mother who bake really good bread. I’m told that we are Blackfoot Indians so my mother is gifted in baking bread 🥖 you can either do it in the oven or on top of the stove she knew how to do it both ways. So I am a bread and butter girl I grew up around fresh bread growing up. So I do enjoy restaurants that serve hot rolls and butter. Especially that bread that is crispy outside very Moist and chewy on the inside.

That's my husband's go-to spot for seafood. That Fishermans Seafood Platter is the go to entree. We will definitely try the lobster roll on our next visit.
