In this video I went with my buddy Vinnie, my son Milo, and my buddy Todd Masson to catch fish in a roadside ditch.

Can you eat it? Well my experience with folks from Louisiana is that if it swims, flies, crawls or walks, Louisianans will eat it! And make it taste world class too!

Man, I just love your videos for all of the amazing looking cuisine. I'd love to go down to Louisiana and eat my way through your region. I developed a minor crab and shrimp allergy about 5 years ago, and I might risk getting some hives to eat all of that amazing looking food!

Was hoping to run into you yesterday. Wife and I caught a nice marsh bass, Nice slot red, and wife landed a 12.5 pound Blue Cat! We got started about 2pm and fished til about 6pm. Was using fresh shrimp off the bottom. Maybe next time, look for us in a gold Chevy Trailblazer.

Thanks for all your videos. I’m from Mississippi and myself and my brother try to come to St Bernard fishing at least once a month. Most of the time Shell Beach /Hopedale area. Your videos have been very informative and helpful. Are there any campgrounds in the area for tent camping?

Hey years ago I worked in south Louisiana and aren’t you supposed to be wearing white coonass boots. Or for those that want to be politically correct white shrimpers boots
@OutsidetheLevees4 ай бұрын
I have them lol. Mostly just cut the grass and do yard stuff with them. They are kind of clunky and the deck boots I wear when I am filming are better for mobility I find.

Sorry but I can't get excited about eating fish that have been exposed to the amount of cadmium, lead and other crap in the runoff from our roads that concentrates in places like roadside ditches. Please reconsider.

It’s ok. It’s in our blood. I’m not even going to mention all the different species of animals, fish and shellfish I’ve eaten growing up and living in S.E. Louisiana. Outsiders would not believe me. Any body of water even puddles hold delicious meals.
