Another great video, Richard. Really nice catfish. Your right about the heat, here in North Central Texas it's been running 102 to 107 all around the area. I use to fish with a 7 inch leader with a baitholder hook tied to main line with a split shot. Then a 7 inch leader with a baitholder hook tied to main line with a bobber and a drop shot and a crappie jig. I use 4 rigs and catch a ton of fish. A wakebait kvd splash and buzzbait in the summer June and July and that's it. Keep it simple. 😊❤ that's 7 set ups I use to catch fish. After 6 casts with no bites I change rigs. 😊

Thanks for the info on an easy way to tie a hook using a knotless snell knot. I could probably use the tying set up to tie my own baitholder hooks with a 7 inch leader. Long as i make leader at least 12 inches to start to tie knotless snell knot. 😊
