The pancake with butter, sugar, corn - we called it "Apam Balik" in Malaysia. Sticky Toufu - I don't think most of Malaysian eat that.

Welcome to Penang! Day time, go to Georgetown, main road, look for the famous Cendol in Malaysia. (Coconut Milk, Red Bean and Pandan little pastry)There are two stores, go to the right one, obviously longer queue. There were many good hawker food towards evening, serving small, very cheap too. You can eat two bowls at once, if not mistaken, one of the good place, coffee shop like, call Sunway..(ask around). Also go to Pulau Tikus, opposite police station, look for an pre-war historical old shop lot facing police station. A coffee shop, one hawker sell Duck Egg Fried Kueh Teow, the best I've ever eaten. The same shop also served authentic Barley Drinks. The old lady using charcoal to cook with Pandan leaves, so yummy! (Hope she is still around) Any chance visiting Kuala Lumpur? But you should not miss Langkawi. Have Fun!

The pancake is called "min jiang kueh" and it is a snack popular in Singapore and Malaysia, originating from China! Usually filled with peanut butter, red bean paste or coconut fillings!

Stinky tofu is a traditional dish in Chinese cuisine, made from tofu that has been fermented for several days, sometimes even months. The fermented tofu has a strong, pungent odor and a strong flavor, hence the name "stinky tofu".😊

We had no idea 😅 Of course the smell was funny, but I thought it’s the same like cheese: the taste would be great.. But this was crazy bad. Haha yep overall we loved the night market!

I've had stinky tofu in Taiwan and tried it twice: first time i thought the flavour was a bit odd but mild and fine (but yeah it stunk). 2nd time tried again another place cos I wanted to find the most stinky one and try it - still ok but wasn't good nor bad, just bit weird. I think Taiwanese love it
@LetsMeetAbroad Жыл бұрын
I’m sure there must be different levels haha, I can’t believe anyone can think that what we taste is ‘fine’ haha 🙈

For the stinky Tofu even Andrew Zimmern could not handle it 😅( kzbin.info/www/bejne/jpuqi5pqnK2CgNk ) but BesteEverFoodRevieShow Sunny handled it also Mark Wiens they ate it just like it is nothing . PS: That would be great if you make a collaboration with Mark Wiens or Sunny from BesteEverFoodRevieShow i think they will give a huge boost to your channel as well.

Never put ice in sugarcane juice. It will be half the juice half water. Take all with no ice.
