When I started carnivore taking a chomp from a stick of butter felt wonderful. As months passed, I was cooking with more butter and fat and was slacking on taking the chomps throughout the day. I started sitting around more, I was going right back to where I started. I even noticed during my one coffee a day I got heart palpitations. So I'm back on the butter chomps and doing much better. Can't wait for the sun to come up and get out in the gardens.

So the fats are good? And both keto and low carb diets are okay?
@defeatdiabetes2 ай бұрын
Hi there - yes, saturated fats like butter, ghee, olive oil and coconut oil are good to eat. Avoid seed oils like vegetable oil ad sunflower oil where possible. You can read more on fats on the Defeat Diabetes site here --> www.defeatdiabetes.com.au/resources/nutrition/the-skinny-on-fat-weve-been-lied-to-for-decades/ Both low carb and keto diets are safe to follow. Low carb and low calorie diets are the only eating approaches recommended by Diabetes Australian to manage blood glucose and achieve remission. They partnered with the Defeat Diabetes Low Carb Program earlier this year. How is beer a part of this diet?
@defeatdiabetes18 күн бұрын
Hi there, we're not sure what you mean. Dr Mason doesn't seem to mention beer in this video but instead discusses how fat is a better fuel than carbs,

Beer is not a part of this low carb diet.

@@nancyfahey7518 I don’t understand. When does the beer drinking come into it?

Yes no doubt.but we don't burn calories, or anything. We metabolize stored Adam's, carbon bonds .calories are heat not absorbed or encapsulated in human metabolism

calories are a measurement of heat. There is nothing wrong with what he said. I'll assume that you're an overweight person with limited knowledge.

I agree, calories don’t apply to our endochrine/hormonal system. Mass in/Mass out is more accurate than Calorie in/ Calorie out.

@@powerguiller Calories in Calories out is extremely over simplified by supposed gym influencers.

Theres more that makes up what burns your calories than just BMR, these supposed gym influencers claim reducing your intake by 500 is actually 500 less without any account for the bioavailability of the source or the calories used to digest the food
