Yaaay, you're back! Just an fyi, kare kare is a peanut stew that's why it tastes like peanut butter hehe i'm so sad you didn't like the halo halo. I'm not sure why it tasted like peanut butter bc that's an unusual ingredient in halo halo 😅 thank you for trying and featuring our cuisine ❤❤❤

Halo-halo is made differently in every restaurant and every by person as well. It's unfortunate your got one without condensed milk, I feel like that's a staple in halo-halo. Weird that they used peanut butter too. The kare-kare does use peanut butter, it's the main ingredient, and is usually balanced with fish paste. I think it probably didn't translate well as a Ramen? But I'm glad you liked our food! The longsilog looked so good it got me so hungry lol. Also, I agree, ube is superior. It's my favorite flavor for any dessert ever.

From these I have tried only the oxtail kare kare in Ramo Ramen and really enjoyed it. Thanks for showing one more place for chicken skin. My wife really enjoys it. Btw that purple ube is made from something like sweet potatoes. You should try also chicken or beef adobo in Pinoy Bites.

I'm half filipino and half German . I've never really explored my filipino background my mom(filipino) got divorced with my dad (German) when I was 6 . I live with my dad . And the only filipino thing I remember is the filipino way of spaghetti and meatballs my mom used to make for my lunch in school . I haven't eaten it in years . Let me be honest with you as a part Filipino and Caribbean Canadian person. You should go with someone who is Filipino to help guide you with you orders. 17:55 Those soups are the Peanut flavoured ones but there are options for non-peanut flavours soups like the sinigang soup which will provide a more sour tamarind flavour. 13:40 You are right about the Halo-Halo as real Halo Halo is suppose to have condensed milk

Try a day eating Indonesian food, next 😊. I recommend you to try rendang, nasi padang (west sumatran rice set ), chicken or beef satay with peanut sauce, and indonesian fried rice. Those are Indonesian most staple food.
