Punjabi person here! Yeah we call ourselves Punjabi, originating form the state of Punjab in India, the language we speak is also called Punjabi, we're the ones with the steel bangle (kara), and yeah a lot of the males wear turbans, and a lot of them don't. Sikhism is the main religion of Punjabis and those who are devout sikhs will be the ones with a rounder style turban and are permitted to carry around a dagger (kirpan). Culturally known to drink a lot of alcohol, although it does go against the sikh religion, lol. Examples of Punjabis iy'all may know (not all of us are like the people listed here); JusReign (where'd he go?), Jinder Mahal(WWE), Panjabi MC (from the JayZ song), Jujhar Khaira (NHL), LillySingh (Superwoman),

Depends on the type of mango. We have a mango we call paper skin or black mangos that stay this greenish black colour and are very small. We eat those with the skin on because it's very thin, it's just easy to eat. But I've never seen that kind of mango available in the USA.

This randomly reminded me of the time when my brother and I were kids and we had a bagel for breakfast. I don't remember if we were full or if the bagel didn't taste good, but our dad found that my brother threw his away and made him eat it- there were ants on it. I don't remember if I threw mine away.

@@honestharry88 why? why are non blacks sooo obsessed with it? I'm curious, with the amount of people fighting to be able to say that word, where is the support when black people are being killed by cops, when there is housing or workplace discrimination, the support for black businesses and the fight for equality? I'm just curious because a lot of people are real quiet on those issues.

i blame the entertainment industry of hollywood from movies and comedies design to accommodate a crowd to justify the terminology behind the words people should never learn or use in the first place. Among the 80s of that era and beyond prior before the year of 2011 according to a few case studies in the past it can likely reveal that. Many propagandized favorite movies in comedy from the past were overly suggested to the Global audiences for the sole purpose of creating more dissension to legitimize the concepts of stereotypes to legitimatize institutional racism. But the sadder truth is this has been going on longer than before the 1950s. Western civilization started it all and unfortunately has not broken away from what created these narratives to undermine societies to condone linguistics or stereotypes. The problem is when it's turned into a concept of humor that is the scapegoat to sneak the agenda behind this collective from generation to generation. I'm not the right person to go further than I should but from what i've read and learned in private group communications it's can be determined all around that. If there is no subject matter in comedy that is designed to teach an audience to learn something of value from then the format of that humor loses it's taste over time. Just because the comedian of that joke is famous for their time it doesn't mean the joke remains timeless to be repeated through the matters of someone else who could be upcoming or that years new generation of comedians. However the concept of that joke is always going to break a few barriers there being funny or too cringy in the unintended concept of it hurting people than it was just supposed to lighten the mood. I believe that's why Comedians like Richard Pryor or Eddie Murphy are idolized and can slip through these new boundaries in place they were the catalyst to help people behind condoning those words to be used at a scale that would redefine a society from decade to decade. That make everyone else believe it's okay for the element of what is alleged to be okay to say in Public. When the truth is, it's never okay to undermine a whole people behind the mechanics of that word. When we see Kevin Hart today he is potentially the current new high other than Kat Williams and ext, but even they abide to the new rules in comedy. Comedians ergo Chris Rock can slip through this but over time the audiences continue to change and lose interest. DL Hugley is conscious AF if we had more comedians who care that much about society there would be more things that could help raise awareness of this issue. Not saying that comedy is a problem but the format behind the comedian not paying attention to their audience or how they are coming up is what cause that kind of inner turmoil. For starters we can see how Trevor Noah is making a killing despite having an audience for recent Daily Show episodes. Not that I am a dedicated fan of his but you can see he doesn't have to go that far into dark humor just to maintain an audience his content remains of value because we learn something and he's conscious about his subject matter in his humor. House name will always sell but not every audience is the same. And in every audience there is that one person who will take what you said and if there is a way to redefine it to hurt someone else then that person will run with it and keep it going. And this was a domino effect ever since from what I've now learned. Oh well that's society in a nut shell i guess. Stay safe and take care.
