My husband and I are learning to dance on 1st January. We’re doing a 5 week beginners class in ballroom and Latin dancing. I’ve just had my 75th on Christmas Eve and he’s 71. Have a nice day Illona X

It’s comical when you put it the way you do about the weather.😂Thanks for the laughs. Thank you for the reminder about the 1000 mile walk. This might be the year. I have other goals I know I will do because I’m motivated about them. With having to monitor my walking and keeping in touch with you, will help. I have been encouraged by you in the past and told myself I would do it, and it got even worse, I did fewer miles, oh boy.🙅‍♀️Thank you so much and for the first time in many, many years I am looking forward to the new year and it’s because I am taking control of areas of my life that I thought were ok, and they’re not. I’m staying as far away from doctors as possible, they make me worse. I’m sure you agree to a certain point, if I heard you correctly in past videos. I think all these weather warnings when we get a bit of wind or rain, and naming “storms” which are really just more wind and rain, is just done to alarm people unnecessarily.

Bingo...planning the weather for us. I made a throw together dinner on Boxing day as i had hurt my back so made something simple...my husband acted like i had poisoned him but as i pointed out to him you ate it yesterday lol

I think you are right. I think they are trying to squeeze every bit of positivity out of us and turn us into quivering wrecks. There's nothing more depressing if our plans to enjoy ourselves are thwarted by the news of continuous rain.

Also the winds can cause a multitude of health problems. They remind me of being in the Mistral (in France), which can be defence if you get so affected you become "homicidal" 🙀

No secret the jet streams have merged, for whatever reason. So expect the weather to be different to a while ago. Plus the sun's reputedly blasting CMEs at us much stronger than in recent times, and the protective magnetic field is ~third weaker than we're used to (and magnetic poles moving). Other than cleansing our minds, as Buddhists suggest, I can't think of anything we could do that might just reverse it. Though if course it could all be hype!

I think the British have always talked about the weather, however, it is now discussed to the extreme and used to distract us from the real issues……corporations, greed, war, hunger, social deprivation…….The weather reports are given but there is no discussion or correlation to the environment, it’s weirdly dramatised🤔🥲

Reputedly They're able to lift/press, even violently "slam", the upper atmosphere/stratosphere somewhat like knocking hard on the top of a fish tank or worse. Affecting the air pressure, winds etc.

Yes, I have been called names, purely because I prefer to think for myself. I think you can divide those who live with their heads in the sand, into groups. Hi Ilona, Boxing day I had a lovely wak at Macclesfield Forest, very pretty and stayed dry. Back to work the day after. I am aiming to lose a bit of weight but I will very much be giving it up in March because I only want to lose a stone 😂

I did the math for 1000 miles, which it is 2.5 miles a day 🙃 just looked on my fit bit and I've walked 3.5 today without realising, so I might just have a go . It's my day off tomorrow asda is a mile away so if I walk it will stop me buying much lol xx

I am on my own with no family many of us miss our family a lot, and we can not do anything about that, we have to change our path, enjoy our company, and be positive i am positive I do lots on my own, and it's fine I love life. Count your blessings joylobee if you have family and all love each other. Doom and Gloom bring illness

The weather is one of the ways we are controlled. If you really think about it, we have been normalized to believe you can only do thinks in ideal weather conditions. In countries like the USA were weather temp is spoken in Fahrenheit and has been since the beginnings of broadcasting the weather, people are all of a sudden told the climate is changing in Celsius. Most Americans just roll their eyes in sarcasm when told the global temp can not exceed 2 degrees Celsius. How many Americans are going to relate a 10 degrees Celsius day to a 49 degrees Fahrenheit day, let alone ask them to do the math on the fly. The weather as offered to us controls our lives and way of thinking in such small ways. It’s all marketing thats in line with the way the respectable in our society want us living. In doors and buying the sorts of products they make. Any its not home made like your veggie dish.
