The paldo jjajangmeon is one of the best and authentic black bean noodles found. You made it the wrong way. Yes its sweet because black bean noodles are sweet. Try draining the water and then mixing the sauce. But if you do not like sweet, you will not like it either ways.

One tip to those who like Chilly chow Maggie's cup noodles: Try adding green chilli sauce for spicyness and just a little bit of Tomato sauce like really just a little of Tomato sauce and Green chilli sauce according to your spice level. I always eat it that way and it tastes way better than the original taste👍🏻
