Hey Naomi! Canadian here. Poutine looked good but we normally don't put cilantro on our poutine. Fries, cheese and a nice dark gravy that's it. It's traditionally made with cheese curds but I prefer shredded. The fries and gravy are usually salty enough without adding salty curds. That's just me, hope this helps! Québécoise here! I'm glad to see poutine representation in Berlin, but that one looked messy haha. The gravy is usally thinner and darker, and the cheese has to be squeaky curds! The squeaky cheese is part of the experience, imo. When it's melted, it's not quite the same. I'm sure it was tasty though!

We actually call it streusel too, at least in the US. i think ours looks a bit different though, usually a bit darker in color and it's normally used to top pies or sometimes cakes. I've also seen it on donuts, muffins and bread.

I think it would be highly entertaining if you did something entirely out of your comfort zone. Your commentary would be absolutely hysterical. For example, if you’ve never helped out at a farm before and spent the day caring for all the different animals, that could be fun.
