And here I am, a girl who has never had even one taco ;P It seems to be such a versatile and fun meal I have to finally commit and search for taco shells / small tortillas around me. Hi Caitlin :*) I love your video! I always like all your videos. I am Mexican and I have almost always eat my tacos with wheat tortillas. Depending which part Mexico someone is they'll decide to buy or make the tortillas. No one in my family is used to make the tortillas we have always buy them even when we were living in Mexico. I had tacos all day today too! I used jicama wraps for one meal instead of tortillas. yum! We had a "taco bar" for a potluck at work last week and I made soy curl chillaquillas and a ground soy version. I am trying to convert all of my co-workers, so yeah. I had some leftovers which I finished today!

Born in Southern CA, I've had a number of wheat tortilla tacos when down in Mexico. Mexican street vendors in CA often use the wheat tortilla as well. Both are available and both work well. Now you have me hungry for tacos and I was soaking beans for burritos tomorrow... Alas, here in the Mediterranean, I often have to find substitutes for ingredients.
