Mark, you made it to Tyre, the ancient city of Tyre and the birthplace of Europa, my continent! This is where we got the name of our continent: Europa. I can’t believe no European school teaches you that, I had to wait to go to college to learn it in my ‘ Ancient Civilizations’ course. The Phoenician expeditions that ended up settling and creating ‘ mighty Carthage’ ( In Tunisia), Cádiz, Málaga, Algeciras, Alicante, Mallorca, Menorca, Ibiza, Malta, Palermo, half of Sicily, half Sardinia, Antibes and Marseille ( France) Morocco, Tunisia, Libya etc..... they all started from mighty Tyre. In Italy, the Tyrrhenian Sea ( il Mare Tirreno) is called after them... the inhabitants of Tyre. The Minoan civilization of Crete is the melting union between the Phoenicians ( the settlers of Tyre and Byblos and the people of Crete. Princess ‘Erp’( called Europa by the people of Crete ) and her marriage with the king of Crete mark the birth of the Minoan civilization and the birth of our continent Europa and people ... Isn’t that amazing? The eternal history of Lebanon, a tiny country with the same population as Norway, but with an incredible history of an immense nation, the land of Phoenicia. Greetings from Norway.

Dude i'm Lebanese and i didn't know that, that's amazing, watching tourist videos and reading people comments made me appreciate the history of my country, and how a small country like Lebanon has so much history and so much impact on the world. @@alissa6 No syrian are not welcomed until Your government and your people recognize lebanon as fully independent and respect it's sovereignty and sign the documents prove that shebaa farm are ours 2 till your country apology for their atrocities toward lebanon and lebanese and free the captured prisoners Till your country take the refugees back to their homeland Syria reputation is ruined in lebanon, any mature syrian who visited the country will confess the bitter truth No you aren't welcome and how I wish if your people has even few of the civilization Ebla had once upon time Till your country stop interfering in our inner matter and don't start with Hezbollah because your country has supported them always and they are part of the same circle your country follow
