I have visited 82 countries and Lebanon is definitely in my TOP 3 !!! Amazing nature, very rich culture and history, very welcoming and friendly people, crazy nightlife and very yummy food (I mean really really yummy) ! Beirut has it all ❤ ❤

As MANY well traveled people have said, one of the most underrated travel destinations. It surprised me in every way. And the food 😍

Medusa's castle??oh my God where did you get that info from? And lions fight??!!The one Ali called medusa's tomb is actually a fisherman's tomb and the cover of the sarcophagus (lid) resembles fish scales. The inscription is Greek. Please please for authenticity hire a guide your are missing a lot of information guys.
@SincerelyRaman Жыл бұрын
Perhaps you are correct ! But that carving sure looked like Medusa 😁
@Lavender-qn5hc Жыл бұрын
@@SincerelyRaman yes my friend the face is indeed for a medusa but the sarcophagus (tomb) isn't. It is called Antipater sarcophagus as shown from the greek inscription. And he was a murex fisherman. Back then they carved lots of Mythological scenes. Each piece you look at has its own story. I know that because i am an archaeologist and from Tyre. Sad you missed so many things my friend, especially that it is once in lifetime trip. Regards to you and thanks again for sharing your experience.
