I've never been to KFC in Jamaica, but I'll have to try it some day. Maybe, they're still using the actual herbs and spices in Jamaica, because salt is the only thing I taste in America. It's really subpar here. Haven't had it in years, but I have family who jump off the plane to head to KFC as soon as it lands in Jamaica.

Everybody seems to forget how our chickens are raised in Jamaica. So, when it comes on to prepping time, it would be easy for the chickens to absorb the eleven herbs and spices. :)

@@D_A_Marvit's not because it's fried in a lot of oil. it's because it's not fried at the right temp. Maybe it's not soggy at every location, but last time i had KFC in USA was over 3 years, before that over 10years. It's most likely because the employees haven't finessed it yet. I had KFC in the Caribbean not because I wanted but because someone bought it for me.

We are heading down to Montego Bay for our yearly trip to Jamaica in a week and this is getting me excited! KFC in the states is nothing like Jamaican KFC. The beaches and the jerk pits are an unbeatable combo as well!

@@PrettyNPinkNGreen08 I got to Jamaica at 1:30 on a Tuesday. We drove past the KFC on the way to the resort about 30 minutes later and the line was ridiculous. Pretty much the same as this one. When I went at 10:30 on Saturday there were about 8-10 people in front of me and I waited a total of 20 minutes to order and get my food.

I came to Jamaica about a month ago and I was surprised how popular KFC is and long the lines are inside and in the drive through. I ate at the one in Pembroke hall Kingston.

First time seeing your channel on my feed and it amazes me there’s no McDonald’s out there, it also amazes me how much y’all appreciate KFC out there coz I’m from St.Louis, Missouri and KFC is more of a less crowded and less appreciated restaurant especially in comparison to McDonald’s, Chick-fil-A, Churches and Popeyes (def White Castle). I absolutely love y’all appreciation for it, not only as individuals, but as a unit. Just season it up as you would the jerk chicken, season your flour, get your egg wash or water, coat your seasoned jerk chicken in the egg wash and flour and deep fry, viola, jerk fried chicken 😊👍

Depending on which location you go in Canada because some of them are franchise the fries are good. Some of the chicken are good on when fry properly but we don't have the barbecue here.

Bredda mi indeed KFC in Jamaica is the best, it's the first meal I eat when ever I travel back home,I've never had KFC anywhere else in the world,(people tell me it tastes nasty🤢) having worked at KFC for the holidays back in High School I know the process and I don't think nobody does it better then in Jamaica. I'm from Mandeville and if you are Jamaican, you know there is only 2 KFC joints there and when I tell you, they're ALWAYS packed.. The longest i've waited in a KFC drive-through is exactly 1:56mins. But it was sooooo worth it. Like Amanda, I live for the biscuits. And the BBQ chicken back (RIB) as Matt say, is my favorite. Their salad is good too, not Wendy's good but still good because of the flavors from the chicken. I LOOOOOOOVEEEEEEE me some KFC!!!!

i remember when i was younger and the mcdonolds closed down then burger king bought the building n they had the little burger king truck to sell while the building was being renovated. it took 2h 30min+ to get a chicken sandwich

We always take KFC from New Zealand to Rarotonga when we visit. (The Cook Islands are our happy place) Its a special treat, they dont have any commercial Takeaways and its a favorite flav. (But when we are there we scoff up all the fish, local fruit & coconuts & when we are in Canada we stuff as many berries, shellfish & maple syrup in us as we can) All these things we have available in NZ, but its different when your home. Its comfort. 😊 So its all relative eh 😂

Jamaicans eat more KFC than Canada. The recipe for KFC was by black Americans who the colonel got it from. Remember black people couldn't market most of what they developed or invented during that time. Barbecue sauce is also by them. Ketchup started in China and the white man visited and liked it and increased the tomatoes 🍅 in it to westernized it. Let me tell you a medical fact coronary artery disease, hypertension hyperlipidemia are some of the sickness you get from greasey foods. Alot of Jamaicans die and not knowing the cause. Heart disease is big in modern day Jamaica. Our ancestors had good health they eat no fast food they eat from the land and they did alot of walking

Very true Jamaican KFC is also a social event.. went on a date there in my early 20s..awesome. also celebrated one Christmas eve at KF C uptown with a group of friends from church. It was awesome back then Jamaica was safe. We walked from North st United to uptown KFC..The whole group was able to sit down amd have a good time It's the lighting in there very romantic and cozy...now this WA 30 yrs ago..lol. I love KFC in South Africa.... We has Masala KFC Chicken and that was Awesome. They did away with the Zinger Hot Chicken here. So now we just have the Normal KFC Chicken, not spicy. They use alot of MSG in the KFC, so hence we cannot stop eating it..... Yummy.... Awesome Videos.... Keep it up....

KFC in Jamaica, you can't compare it to any in the States. The difference is that we know how to season food and cook food properly. I have never waited 1 hour but 45 minutes the most, and I got there before noon. When the food is good, it is just good. Big up yourself and stay safe. I appreciate the food vibes you bring.

I can attest to that cause I use to do aviation security in Mobay and lots of passengers traveling to USA would buy bucket of KFC and take on the plane.🍗🛫 The most common theme from passengers is that KFC in Jamaica 🇯🇲 real taste better than KFC in USA 🇺🇸. Another thing is the Barbeque KFC 🍗 isn't found in the USA and passengers care their buckets of barbecue KFC chicken on the plane

I remember the police had to come and started tell ppl to not join the drive thru because it was causing traffic jam....and when I say a long line it was like a 5 minute worth walk...it was ridiculous but it was a Friday.

The one in the town seemed emptier than Ironshore lol. But an hour is a ridiculous wait time and it's always like that no matter the location, (if you go there the wrong time, dog nyam your supper). They need to do better though. When they changed the fries to those thick rusty chips they messed it up. Those have to be piping hot for them to taste good and eaten first. And I don't think that recipe Colonel Sanders's, no way! No white man was frying chicken like that back then. I'm not convinced they stole that from some unsuspecting black folk. But that's my theory....

In Thailand we have very spicy, original or Zabb chicken(local style), fries, mash potato with gravy or rice. Thai chicken is the number 1 chicken in the world, Supreme quality 👍
