Born and raised Alaskan. Grew up on the Kenai Peninsula. Grew up eating salmon and moose. Literally from river to table. Our father taught in the villages. He'd bring king crab legs home from his trips. It's first rate. Super sweet. It's gift to have such a wonderful childhood. Snowball fights. Sliding. In the summer time playing until after midnight. And still look like it's 4 pm. I wouldn't change a thing.

I used to visit with my brother in Juneau Alaska a few times before he moved to Anchorage Alaska. I actually caught a 36 lb Alaskan king salmon. He chopped it up smoked it and sent it down for us to eat for a while. The halibut is so good especially deep fried. Check out the hanger next time you go to Juneau. Also Bullwinkle's and heritage coffee shop I think. I used to work for the coffee company as a filing clerk and you might want to check out mendenhal glacier and the perseverance trail. Quite the hike and go visit the shrine there too. That place is amazing.
