I miss this place so much - now living in the UK and the first thing I do when I arrive in Kolkata is head to Nizams for my Kati Roll. I've eaten it made by other people, but it's never the same as Nizams. OMG I'm so jealous watching this video. Crazy thing is I was there on the 10th of Feb 2019 - a few days after you posted this!

I would say! When you talk about Calcutta, you can always refer it to as CITY OF JOY. And it is like that in its true sense. It is also the city of palaces ( in shambles ;). Kolkata has been the melting pot from its hay day. Not only Indians from north, south, East and West, but also businessmen/ philosopher/ polititians from China, Southeast Asia, Japan, Europeans/ Africans/ Latin American and North Americans have been the key part of the political and cultural development of the city. It's the art and cultural hub ( not to confuse as cultural capital btw that is different for India). And many Nobel Laureate are product of this city. A very proud people and place living happily in shambles made by its administration. It's like Yin Yang living together in one place.

The place at the beginning, you're lucky you are there in the early hour of the day - the people & the traffic will be 3 or 4 times especially during the evening. When Mother Teresa died, I was there in Calcutta (during those times, it's still Calcutta). Her body was put at Loreto for people to see, I was there, standing from 6:00 am (around 10 people were already lining before me), it's going to be opened on 9 or 10 am. It was raining shortly after I stood there, there were already people standing behind me, but we all stood in the rain because we don't want to lose our spot. Fortunately, they open the gate about 1 hour prior to schedule due to the rain. Even though I'm from Mizoram, Kolkata will always be my 2nd home. During my college days, whenever my Calcutta resident classmates want to buy something, they always ask me to take them (I seems to know more about the commercial place more than them 😏)

Sorry, I have a different take on Teresa's "charity"....she was pretty much running a conversion business and also portrayed India in poor light....she has been exposed by Christopher Hutchings. Shri Rama Krishna Mission, Calcutta, does real charity and tons of it more than Teresa's "charity", but without the hype, show and marketing.

How on earth you can raise questions no Mother Teresa.I was born and raised in kolkata and i know what she has done and contributed to our city of Joy.All these proselytism theories are absurd.People don't choose their religion,it is by default from our birth, what is wrong if a person starts to have faith on some other religion by his own choice when he grows up.If you call this proselytism, sorry you need to grow up you hate monger extremist . Please don't spread propaganda here, please don't tarnish the image of kolkata. She served the leper with her own hands,i bet you would leap a thousand mile just by the sight of a leper.Davids channel is a wonderful channel, don't spread your absurd half baked information here.Peace.

@@princeaggarwal6380 : propaganda? are you kidding me? get your facts straight.....Rajiv Malhotra has already exposed the "breaking India" forces in his book titled "Breaking India". The fact is that, in India, we have the Christian missionaries, Islamic jihadis, communists plus "Lutyens media (tukde-tukde gang)", all working hand in hand (24x7) in an attempt to divide and balkanize India. But people are waking up....under the able guidance of Modi ji, we'll definitely kick out the wicked forces who are using "religion", "charity" etc etc as a cover to continue their nefarious activities. Facts sound like half baked info to you? lol...I'm dumbfounded
