Honestly, recipes like this with nice, basic protein + veggie dishes can help a lot of people sustain good dietary habits. I like keto baked goods and stuff as much as the next guy, but would argue that "preparing vegetables that don't taste terrible" is even more worthwhile to have under one's belt.

Cook the chicken first, then the Broccoli; broccoli only needs about 3 minutes. Also just do the whole thing in a wok; pay attention to the order items are cooked. Use shredded cabbage (for "crack slaw"), or a bit of peanut oil with baby bok choy. Then discover one can swap out the Chinese spices for TexMex and have a burrito bowl, or maybe Italian with cream and chicken with spinach. Once you get the idea, a world of one-dish keto meals await you.

Looks great, thanks! I'd like to recommend a tasty meal, Albondigas. Its a Mexican meatball soup. I made them Friday, making them Keto by adding almond flour to the meatballs instead of regular flour or rice and turnips to the soup instead of potatos.
@BlackTieKitchen2 жыл бұрын
Its interesting how different cultures have the same dish but different! For us, albondigas are more standalone (not in a soup). You could probably use pork rinds and a little cheese as a binder!
@bernadetterocha36932 жыл бұрын
@@BlackTieKitchen I actually added an egg to the ground beef as well, I just forgot to bring that up.😅 It binds pretty well, just have to make sure the water is boiling hot before dropping them in. I'll try pork rinds though, just to gove it extra flavor!😍
@ziah7ahmik2 жыл бұрын
U can add Italian sausage or pork meat for it to be tastier. Also if u mix the meat n the rest of the added ingredients in 1 direction, it will bind on it own. U won't have to use added binding agents i.e. flour, almond flour, eggs 😋
@LoveWinsMovement2 жыл бұрын
@@bernadetterocha3693 Recipe please 🙏🙏🙏
@bernadetterocha36932 жыл бұрын
@@LoveWinsMovement I don't really have a recipe. I watched several people's recipes and then just adjusted it for my taste and to make it low carb. A good one I tried though is from Views on the Road youtube channel. Instead of potatos I use turnip. Instead of rice or flour in the meatballs, I simply substituted it for almond flour. You basically have to play around with quantity. They have two albondigas recipes -- one with and one without an instant pot. If not using an instant pot I recommend using the one without so you know when to add the meatballs. Watching the other is worth it though to see inhredients. She always says make it comfortable for your home so just do you. Make sure the water is at a full boil before adding in the meatballs so they don't fall apart.

I wonder if a vid just on cooking a variety of veg (cut size, method and time) would be a good subject. With your camera and audio skills, you could actually get across the color and texture of a properly cooked veg! :) I think to bump up that dish to keto, I'd slap a chunk of butter on it to finish. :) Glad to see you back.
