Okay... so I've lived my whole life in Canada up until now, where I've been living in Korea for the past 5 months (and probably for another 4). And 20 seconds into this video I'm completely agreeing with Martina - Halloween is SO 'meh' over here! (;_;) I adore Halloween but it's like barely even a thing even in Seoul, so disappointing! I think part of the issue is that Korea is only in these past few years really starting to embrace Western and Japanese culture. Japan has been adopting parts of western culture for decades now and has had a much larger western presence there, so Halloween is a lot more celebrated at this point. I'm sure Korea will get there at some point.

Once you work your way out to the "inaka" areas or other prefectures, you might here of a small Halloween party here or there, but nothing over the top, and you'll run into quite a few people who have either never heard of it, or think it's pretty weird. If you want the REAL JAPANESE HALLOWEEN EXPERIENCE spend the night in Shibuya. You will not regret it! :)

I love Halloween because my son was born on Halloween. I remember making a costume when he was 2 years old. I spray painted his old snow suit & winter boots silver, ran battery operated lights through the hood of his snow suit & wound the lights around pipe cleaners to look like glowing antennae. Then I glued Kool-Aid scoops to a square piece of cardboard & ran battery operated lights behind each scoop & Velcroed it to the chest of his snowsuit so it looked like a glowing chest plate. Lastly I put silver makeup on his face. He made the cutest space alien. Like something out of Star Trek. I love Halloween!

For this Halloween, I'm planning to go classic. If I were trick or treating in your neighbourhood, then you'd see me dressed up as Beetlejuice, occasionally munching on a plastic beetle. I've loved the movie and this character since I saw it as a kid, so I wanted to relive the nostalgia on my favourite holiday.

Halloween: the cosplayer's favorite holiday. Also I have a ton of costumes but if I could pick one I would probably be Lady Loki. I've done that costume a few times and it's always a hit. Especially if I find more people dressed as the same character.

Hello. Actually, the first video I saw was about Simon coming back to Poland. I do not remember how I found your channel, but till this day I am very thankful for my luck.
