Y’all in the comments missed the whole point of this movie. This isn’t a NWA movie if you want to see the real people go watch documentaries about them a KZbin. This is about Michel’le and the mental and physical abuse she endure while trying to pursue a music career. The whole point of her doing this movie is to teach young girls and women to not make the same decisions she made and stay in a domestic violence situation. So what if the actors don’t look or act exactly like the real people they could never be exactly like them they are actors. As long as they get the message across that the person who made the movie wanted to do that’s all what matters. Y’all will find anything to complain about.

I always found it funny how Dre is seemingly the only entertainer who’s abusive past gets swept under the rug like it never happened, especially rare for a black man. I also found it funny that michele did nothing to him but he beat her ass on the daily, but suge robbed this man of his whole catalogue spanning almost 10 years and never laid a hand on him

That’s like saying Dave Chappell, 2pac and Katt Williams have seen some real fucked up devil shit at these Hollywood parties. (While forgetting that they mostly likely stay there that night and still stayed in the game that treated people like that). My favorite moments for these backward times is when we have to vote a random dude into the White House every time and people fall for their stories about how corruption is hurting this nation... When will you all learned that you have been getting plaid? I guarantee those women on that list continued the cycle in a sinister way like always brings the abuse to become the abuser.. If you fall for those stories than wonder you think those women “been through some real messed up shit” as you type this about people achieving their dreams and getting rich off it while some baby is being sold to a pedo as we speak... Poor ole Lil Kim, how will I be able to make it knowing what she’s been through? Marilyn Monroe? Girls need their role models to show what persistence looked like back in the day when home wrecking wasn’t as popular... Oh what a world what a world.. Throw in Michael Jackson while your at it, he had a tough childhood even though he had sleep overs with kids and known to fondle and get them drunk. Poor R Kelly, claiming he was touched wrong as a kid once... We need to start funds for the people, I will go start the page soon and email you the directions for it. $200 dollars is a good star for them? Eh it doesn’t matter you just keep sitting g their making your parents proud while posting about celebs who could care if you got anus cancer that slowly eats your asshole from the inside. You keep putting in the good work, I’ll hit you with the patron page soon. I’m proud of you!

Why wouldn’t he? They were childhood friends, so Dre would not have been in awe of Eazy. He wouldn’t have been scared of him. People aren’t usually scared of those they grew up with. @@AnonymousC-lm6tc not saying Eazy wasn’t friendlier towards her(he was the one who discovered her) but the last part is not true, Dee Barnes confirmed in many interviews (her most recent ones as well) that all of NWA threatened her after Dre beat her up to the point where she filed a restraining order against ALL OF THEM. They never reconciled before he died, just because Eazy E didn’t touch Michelle, doesn’t mean he was any better than Dre, that’s the biggest piece of fiction known to man, like Dee Barnes herself explained, they were raised in an environment where that wasn’t seen as anything out of the ordinary, and there was definitely no way in HELL that Eazy E was going at Dre for hitting her(if Eazy E of all men wanted Dre to stop, he could have made that happen EASILY, he simply didn’t care all that much/didn’t see it as any of his business) The point of Eazy having a bar dissing Dre about only being able to hit women has all to do with the fact Dre had no street credibility as a gangster(like he and NWA were claiming in their lyrics) and ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with having a problem with violence against women.

You know, upon seeing some of these scenes again, I actually like this movie. I'd like to see more light shined on Dre's perspective (not that he's in anyway justified for his actions) to see the character development over the years. Same with Eazy. I actually feel he should get his own movie as well; SOC was good, but it made Eazy seem very bitter later in life. When in reality, the stories from his friends say he was anything but.

If Dr. Dre was to make a movie separate about his life he would once again make himself look like the good guy like he did in Straight Outta Compton, idk why you would think he would do any different. Plus he hasn't had much character development because every woman that was in a relationship with him after Michele says he hit them including his recent ex wife. He also refuses to acknowledge that he wasn't an active father in all of his childrens lives, he only took care of the ones he wanted to take care of
