I remember playing this game A TON back in highschool. I had unlocked everything without spending a single dollar irl, and all that time payed off when I went to this big videogame/cosplay convention back in 2015 and there was a Jetpack Joyride comp in the playstation area. The longest distance record would win a brand new PS4. I got about 11k distance thanks to the crazy teleporter and lots of tokens and my record stayed on top all day 😩🤧 I still have that PS4

I once had a bug when I downloaded Jetpack Joyride Several years ago when I'm still in the elementary, I downloaded the game straight from Google Play Store and I played it several times at night and then I go to sleep. The next morning, all of the items in the game were suddenly unlocked and I'm very happy. I've been playing this game since it came out. Two major mechanics I've noticed. 1. After using a revive, the zapper count seems to double. 2. The slot machine minigame can always be won by pulling right at the transition between the 2nd and 3rd arrows. It takes a little bit of timing but it's worked in every single version that I've played.

a pretty nice tip i think speedrunners doing this game is a neat little feature where if you tap both of the head starts at the same time, it combines into a mega head start that gets you to about 2250 metres, and 2000 metres is the distance threshold for the game starting to speed up so it's pretty useful if you want to immediately speed up and have enough head start utilities
