In this episode I continue with installing the wlabro 525 pumps into my Ebay fuel cell with a custom fuel hat and wiring. I address a few of the problems I had in the first video and we continue. This is my first attempt at this but I feel like its gonna work out pretty well.

You are perfectly fine with -8an feed. I made 800+ wheel HP on e85 with a 5.3L. With the 6.2 you will make more power due to the cubic inches

Yeah I think so too. I have room to grow if need be in the future. I feel like the car would be making some juice if an -8 line is holding me back. Anything is possible I guess 🤣

I would definitely keep an eye on the silicone and like a previous comment said, go to the Dow Corning 730 fluorosilicone RTV. It's what the folks at Aeromotive recommend for their Phantom setups to fill gaps in ridged tanks. Love the vids brother!

Ill refer to this comment for the good stuff if it leaks on me for some reason. Maybe I can get some thin rubber and cut a gasket out of that if I have an issue. We will find out soon enough. Thanks for the heads up!

Definitely use the new wheels and 275 tire. I believe it's going to make it easier to hook. Nice job on the fuel pump setup. Keep it up, you're going to have a hotrod

I originally put a higher flow eBay fuel pump on my original TBI sending unit and used heat shrink on the splices I made and after a while I got concerned it would melt in just 10% regular fuel. Soon after, that cheap pump quit. I pulled it out and the heat shrink was just fine. A good experiment would be to get a little cup of E85 and drop in some heat shrink and see if it melts.

I can see the pumps through the fill cap so ill keep an eye on the heat shrink and see what happens.

did you use marine heat shrink with the glue or plain heat shrink? stainless hose clamps? There is a guy on ebay that will make custom a fuel pump internal sump/ holder for the fuel pumps for the ebay fuel cells. wanted to see how you ran your venting for the fuel cell.

Fuel cell is vented through a roll over valve. Believe it or not the plastic crimps seem to work the best in e85.The standard red blue ones you get everywhere. I tried heat shrink and didnt last.

A 275 on your new wheels would be killer if you can fit them. Unsure if your year will hold a tire that big and what the offset do the new wheels have? If you could fit it, it'd be a win, win.......traction/looks!

@@Burndown yea i was wondering since I bought a internal fuel pump for my hanger in my stock gas tank in my eg civic but recently I bottomed out really bad and it cracked it to a point that it is unsaveable. The whole bottom is pretty rust and i’m pretty sure none of the gas tank bolts will come out without breaking so i just wanted to do ebay fuel cell and cut a hole for the internal fuel pump and just extend wires and might as well feed Braided lines for e85. Shouldn’t it be just fine?

Yes this is my car. I sold the Maverick a while back trying to relocate to a new state but we missed the market so now im playing with this instead of the Maverick. This was supposed to be the "Family" car to drive around and enjoy and fix up.

It was made by a guy on here for me. Im not going to mention him by name but I don't think he wants to produce these. When I said what I planned to do he contacted me and said he would like to help and this is what he came up with. Send cut Send would be a good option for you to make your own or just drill the holes and then cut the circle out. Not too hard I don't think.

Look up the 15 gallon tank pretty much everyone sells. Its that tank and you should be able to find the size dimensions
