I tried this using your idea as example. But the expanded metal is way more reflective than the honeycomb. I’m using 1.25” spikes and the back side of my wood during cuts is getting torched by laser reflection. Maybe I have to paint the expanded metal black or something non-reflective.

Joe, here is the crazy thing. Clicking the subscribe bell is what triggers the email that they are not sending anymore. On Chrome it will also make a small card in the upper right but that does not last long and getts real crowded when you have many coming it. The email with the thumbnail and description of really great but Google decided to stab all the creators in the back and you get fewer views. Why? My only guess is that Google won't have to pay out so much money. After all, Google makes its money from the number of subscribers. Yep, stabbed in the back yet I seem to be the only one calling them out.

No, its now far enough away from the bed the reflected light has not been an issue like when the material just sat directly on the bed...

@@DIY3DTECHcom yes Diamond screen is right. Diamond plate has no perforations. Expanded metal is press expanded and has slanted ribs, which might work better as it would deflect the beams at an angle downward and to the side instead of back up as this diamond screen does because it is flat.
