Knowledge of the situation is so important. Numbers are only one part of the story. A good deal numbers wise could be a bad deal because it’s been picked through. Or it could be a great deal because it started as 10k unit collection and this is the 5k left they no longer want to sell but it’s still valued for eBay profits. Iam looking to get into this. What sites do you recommend to buy from. What auction houses? I've brought heaps of cars from pickles and grays. But they're both hit and miss buying cars. Looking at buy items like you buy. Iam a new subscriber and love your content. Thanks for the advice. I live in Adelaide South Australia.

To find out which auction houses are good or bad, you gotta spend a whole lot of time, money and effort and get burned many times along the way. No one is going to give that info away for free. It's something you need to figure out yourself. Same goes for buying storage units etc. As a personal example, in my region there are about 50 different thrift stores. I've been to every one of them, multiple times, and it took me about 2 years of persistent effort to narrow down to just 2-3 locations that consistently have cheap, high quality goods. I've picked up $25,000 statues here for $100. There's no way I'm sharing my locations with anyone after putting in all that work, especially as they may compete for the same items I'm sourcing.
