Yeah I do notice that golf apparel seems to sell pretty good online I've been selling online for quite a few years and I noticed whenever I get any you know like golf polos especially you know decent Brands you know Nike or Tietlist or Callaway they seem to sell pretty quick and for some good money especially if they're brand new

Yeah then you either have to charge 20$ extra for the shipping people forget to mention that or you have to list it higher then 20$ to cover the shipping

Agree with bubba. Our prices in northern Illinois are much higher. That Footjoy item would be $6.99 - 9.99, maybe even more some places. Polos are usually $4.99 - 7.99 depending on brand. If you’re lucky, you can find better deals on color of the week items. That’s the only way you’re getting clothes for $2 here.

@@spinn77 I don’t think I’ve even seen a t-shirt priced below $5 here in MD in about 2-3 years

@@poopietrousers Same. Sometimes if youre lucky, some will be 3.99. And shoes are the worst. anything that has a semblance of being good will be priced at least 14.99 and a lot of stuff will be 19.99 - 24.99. There was a pair of Jordans in a case last week for 99.99. Kinda sucks, but someone must be paying for it or things would've gotten cheaper by now. Oh well. They definitely have it good in SC.

While of course true that brand matters a lot, it is also true that to some extent, quality and condition matter more, IF you have a stellar reputation for picking well and selling at the right price. It would be interesting to look at a bell curve of what prices are being asked for the underperforming brands, vs the overperforming brands. And useful would be a scatter chart of price vs seller size (feedback number). I don't care how many unsuccessful sellers misprice and never sell the same items as other unsuccessful sellers. What I do care about is what price good sellers are semi-reliably getting in around 90 days. A good seller should not always be scared away by bad stats on a brand caused by items which will never sell, especially when the majority of other good sellers are scared away, reducing the quantity up for sale to below what the actual demand is. Some sellers might have much better turnover than the average, whether due to pricing or their own reputation for condition/taste/etc.

Buying used clothing is disgusting if you think about it. You never know what sort of fungal infections or bodily fluids were left on them from the last person who wore it. I honestly don't know how people out there are profiting from selling used clothing.
