OMG… my husband and kids went away to church camp last week and I was home alone with my white lab. She did the same thing! She chewed the hair off the front of her paws because she was so stressed that they were gone. They are already looking better this week. She did the same thing to her tail once… we got a dog to help with anxiety and she ends up having anxiety. 🤣

I had a paw problem for 2 of my pups. After tons of different possible causes (plants in the yard, flea and tick meds, choice of food, etc.) we changed their diet off kibble onto a turkey, veggie, small amount of rice diet and all the itching disappeared. I believe fillers and crap in kibble can cause lots of issues. Inflammation, serious kidney problems, dental issues that lead to heart and liver problems. There is evidence that periodontal disease can cause endocarditis and other life threatening sickness. Also I figure if you love your dog...show them. Take the time or pay the price to pay for better food. I wouldn't want to eat the same crappy meal everyday for 10-20 years. So, why do that to your best friend? You guys are great! Good luck with Mose!!

Please keep us informed about Mose's toes. The licking can develop into a bad habit. Use a cone to break him of that habit because the constant moisture will lead to a bacterial or yeast infection
