This one didn't start out half bad (at least on my tiny phone screen). You really brought it out very nicely. Think you need a fine jewelry saw for those pesky paint jobs. We can save the patients Doctor... We have the technology. I agree with a spinning before and after shot would be a very good addition to your videos.

Love what you did. I’m currently rebuilding a space marine bike I got off eBay. Had to strip and completely disassemble it. Got it back together now and you wouldn’t even believe it was the same bike. Keep it up.

I love that feeling after you save a mini like that! The biker was probably on someone’s shelf forever collecting dust and now it’s something you can tell a story about as well as use on the table...love it :)

Yeah it’s pretty gratifying to bring them back from what can only be described as a train wreck. Caring wait to get to painting it.

Great job. The ending of the video could definitely do with a before & after type of shot though. To save the viewer from having to skip back to the start to see the difference in full.

Thanks, I totally spaced the before shot at the end on this one. But I’m planning on setting up a Facebook page to put all that stuff and have a space where people can post their rescues as well...should be up soon :)

Do you know why he had to change it to round? I havent touched the game since 2002, and the square bases where prefered because it enabled you to easily field units.
@mogwaiman60485 жыл бұрын
@@Wookie_oo7 Age of Sigmar uses round bases. The round bases allow for miniatures to achieve a variety of poses when positioned next to each other. I think it looks better than the old square ones.

I love your videos. You always do an amazing job... but I wish you would clean up some of the mold lines and other stuff before you painted.

Yeah, I’m a bit lazy about that sometimes. It’s definitely something I’m trying to stay more aware of as I make newer videos. I appreciate the feedback :)

Haha well thank you :) it’s just about putting time in and learning something every time you pick up a brush, I’m still learning, and have a long way to catch up with my favorite hobbyists. Just keep painting and you will improve with every model!

Every time you mention the name of the model, that model doubles in price on eBay! I’m trying to copy you but can never get your models for so cheap. What models are next so I can get a head of the curve and paint with you?
@eBayMiniatureRescues5 жыл бұрын
I’ll be doing another subscriber choice pretty soon, I’ve got a handful of minis to put into that so there will be time to try and find some of them if you want to follow along :) Off the top of my head there will be some older space marines, grey knights, old skaven stuff, kharadron overlords, tzaangors, and some Riders of Rohan.

I have a question, and I'm not knocking anything you're doing here. Because everything I've seen is very excellent work. But I've noticed that all of the videos that I have watched are all GW models/figures. Do you paint figures by any other companies?
@eBayMiniatureRescues5 жыл бұрын
I wouldn’t think you were knocking anything, your question is perfectly valid :) I’m not opposed to painting minis from any line, I just happen to play Age of Sigmar, and WH40K was my entry into the hobby about 20 years ago. If a mini came across my desk that wasn’t GW I’d still paint it. I have done some board game pieces, gloomhaven, dark souls, that kind of thing, just never made videos.
@looselycollected75055 жыл бұрын
Ok, I just wondered. I've played so many different mini games over the years I've lost track of everything I have played or owned. I love watching you work. I haven't painted much in a while. Getting ready to paint a bunch of stuff to use for Frostgrave and 5th ed D&D games. I own an airbrush. I've used an airbrush. But I have never used it on minis. So anytime I have seen people use one for minis it's always sort of amazed me. I'm kinds getting the itch to try it.

This is great. Caught maybe eight of these, still laughing. Everything is so perfectly wrong. Is there anyone in particular you're doing a parody of, or is it just in general? Top marks for the insufferable music and beautifully over-dramatic intro. It's so good I almost missed it being a parody. Top notch.
