Awesome video. This has to be my favorite look for Sting out of all of the different looks he's had over the years. I absolutely adore his hairstyle, this is a very cool and obscure clip. I love stuff from this very early era of the band.

The Police were originally part of Eberhard Schoener's backing band. This track appeared on Schoener's 1978 album "Video Magic".

apparently it's from Flashback (same year) www.discogs.com/Eberhard-Schoener-Flashback/master/352259 ps: apparently it's an original composition from Schoener too, it's surprising that it didn't get a little fame, it's a beautiful song.

The singer, guitarist, and drummer are pretty good. They should think about forming a trio.

Wow, Where did you get this? Do you have the rest of the show? Do you know what month in 1978 this was from? This is the first time I have heard this song. Is it a Police original or is it a cover? Thanks for posting!

And on that night, their reputation as a punk band shattered into a million pieces.

Man, they had a hard time pretending to be punks, no matter how hard Stewart tried. They replace punk Henri, with British Invasion veteran Andy. They release Fallout, then record this on TV. It was futile keeping up the charade.

I was wondering this too, I read about it in Stewart's memoir and thought she would've been in this clip
