Eberspacher D3WZ garage heating

One thing to consider, having the exhaust to go through a water/heat exchanger, or through a radiator to get that heat too🤷🏼‍♂️

You need to insulate if you want to keep your heat.

Yes losing lots through roof, i have used this installation as test rig for other heaters i was fixing.

Lots of heat lost through all metal siding and eaves. Fuel must be cheap where you are.

nice job! Just a question: is it tricky to correctly connect all the cables when it's not mounted on a car or a minivan, where all the connections are alredy designed for the D3WZ?

Krzysztof Polek was there any special programming interface required to turn on/control the heaters or was it all just connecting the correct wires to + and - ?

Not for D3WZ just 12v. But i have bigger one from land rover which require circuit board to emulate start and stop signal from ECU, i have all this ready it will be subject of next video.

That's really cool despite the noise. I may fit on in my boat before the winter. Is there a limit to the amount of radiators you can fit with that Eberspacher? Could you fit four large ones?

Hi Pedro. D3WZ heater is only 3kW heating power, more radiators mean they warm up slower and and lover temperature. I am working on device which allow to run Webasto thermo top v without the car or dedicated controller. They are 5kW modern heaters. Prototype is working now update of my video coming soon. Device will be for sale as well. Regards.

of course it will never in the world heat up not even the 40 liters of water, let alone the place, as it takes like 20 minutes to heat that 10 litres in my Omega 2.5DTI WHILE the engine is also running :D
