So for learning kanji you suggested: wanikani, but be realist, without already perfectly knowing hiragana you can't learn the reading.

yeah i def recommend knowing the hiragana first!! when i mean learn kanji on day 1 i meant like while memorising hiragana but not so literally 😆

Thank you! I've been wanting to learn more languages but it's so hard to find a good place without costing so much lol 😅

I would recommend learning some decent vocabulary first. Then once you can understand the sound of common words it's easier to use other resources for input through listening. This will naturally help you get exposed to learning grammar. As you piece together the words you know who can learn the other aspects of sentence structure. I think once you've got decent listening skills you can focus on reading and writing as well. This is how I learn languages. For everyone it's different but I find having a decent starting vocabulary opens you up to a lot of information and possibility for accelerating your learning.

As a non Japanese learner I'm confused. As a learner of other languages I think it's so cool to have someone like you giving advice to those who are learning.

Why are there 3 diff alphabets? Does it serve a purpose or did it just happen organically?
@ebifried6 күн бұрын
this is a great question I want to reply w a video! but basically Kanji is Literally chinese characters. they created hiragana as a simpler alphabet and they’re used to break down kanji. Katakana is used for loan/foreign words

How do you pronounce Beautiful?

Do you still use Bunpo? I started using it and it like it. I use duolingo to practice hiragana and katakana because it like the interface it uses for testing them more.

I don’t use it for its main purpose bc i’m not “studying” like that atm but I still have it for the AI chats 😆 i heard there’s gna be updates soon tho
