Kura sushi in America is awful. It's nothing like the one in Japan. Uni and salmon eggs taste like the ocean, and they don't give you the Macha box and hot water dispenser at your table. And the tables and plate dispensers are dirty

It is literally just hygiene products that women need. Maybe both men and women alike in the Japanese society just need to learn to accept that as part of human normality instead of being embarrassed of something normal to a woman. It’s silly and close minded.

I hate this in the US too. I was picking up BC from the pharmacy and the pharmacy tech realized they didn't have any opaque paper bags for me to put them in, so he took my pills with him to go look for one for like 5 minutes (after I already signed for them 🙄). I had zero issue just carrying them out of the store in my tote bag. I don't have shame about something I have to take to make my life liveable, so don't forcefully impose your prudish values onto me. Same with pads and tampons. I am not hiding them under the stuff in my shopping cart, or picking them up last to spare other people from seeing them. It's the most natural and common thing in the world and I don't care if it makes people uncomfortable.
